Full Disclosure: I recieved this item for free as a previous customer of other products.The good:1) it has a sleek, modern, clean look that I like.2) Auto-Detection! the scale knows which user is using it (upto 8 profiles). Just step on the scale and it knows who is using it.3) A lot of info! The scale offers a lot of details in a short time4) This company gives back, which is always nice!!Bad:1) The app has a wheel to input info. Takes WAY too long, each digit needs to be scrolled through for data input2) Doesn't communicate w/phone. This version is manual input. I would pay a little more for bluetooth.3) The information doesn't stay on screen long enough. There is a lot of data to enterConclusion: I like it, it's a simple scale to use that doesn't look ugly. I only wish it had BT to synch to my phone!

This scale is solid and for the price a clear winner. If you have one of those flimsy dial scales the difference is night and day. After programming the user, simply step on and there is no flexing under my 380lbs and a second or two later it states your weight and body composition.I've used other products from this company and unlike most, this company actually cares about their consumers and have support where needed.One of the questions listed for this scale states it connects via Bluetooth to the app, this is a NON-connected scale. If you wish to use the app enter the data manually. I didn't want another app since another health app already records my weight with a simple entry.If you want a well-built scale, this one is highly recommended.

The latest version of this scale is great. As a larger person (300+) I can honestly say I have pressure tested it and it holds up very well. The measurement is pretty quick and is consistent. Only cons are it takes a bit of practice to get the nuance of selecting the right user profile using a toe and wireless connectivity would be great but not expected at this price point. I also appreciated the minimalist packaging and integrated charitable aspects indicating the high degree of social responsibility of the company behind the product. I have had the prior version for a number of years and would expect the same longevity from this one.

Purchased this product as a tool to help me measure my weight loss progress. One of the most important features for me was the body fat % measurement as well as the water %. I want to make sure I'm drinking adequate amounts of water. I wanted to get something affordable and reliable.EASE of set up: [Activate batteries first by removing the plastic pull tab from the back of scale]1. Wake up the scale by briefly stepping on-off with one foot.2. Press+hold SET button.3. Use UP/DOWN buttons to set your user number [U1-U8].4. Sex/Athlete Mode - Choose Athlete [the gender icon with an A next to it], IF you're exercising ~12 hours per week AND your resting HR is ~60 BPM or less. [Side note: I mistakenly set myself up in Athlete mode because I didn't look at the icon clearly the first time, which made me think I was not as fat as I thought LOL; Do not make this same mistake; I am definitely needing to lose much more fat than I had previously thought. ;-) ].5. Then you set up your height and age. I plan on updating the age on every birthday to keep the numbers as accurate as possible. After setting up your profile, you step on [with clean, DRY feet]. The scale will now know that you are U#.Thereafter, you just step on-off to wake up the scale -- it will greet you with "HI" -- then you will either see 0.0 lb (or kg) or "Step On" -- make sure you're standing evenly on the scale (no WET feet unless you want to have a bad accident in the bathroom) -- your weight will flash 2x, then "U#", then the scale will silently make its calculations (you will see a flashing "o" move across display if you look down (this takes about 5 seconds, give or take), then the scale will give you your stats. You can then step off at this point when you see "U#" and it will flash your data in this order: Weight, BMI, BF%, muscle mass % (depicted by a weight-lifting bar), bone mass %, and water weight %. When you see "U#", you can step off the scale and record your data with pen+paper or your favorite app. Your data will flash 3x in that previously mentioned order to give you ample time to record your data.The scale itself appears solidly made. It is thin with non-slip rubber type material on the bottom to keep it firmly to the floor. The display is bright with large characters, which is helpful. I like that it only takes 3 batteries, which is less than previous similar type scales that I had prior. There was no paper manual included; however, it was provided via a link on the bottom of the scale, which I found helpful. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for an affordable body fat composition scale that is easy to set up and use.

This produce was so easy to set up, the main reason why it has a 5 star rating. no instruction manual just a sticker telling me to pull a tab at the battery compartment and it instantly turned on (batteries included)... Then I used it and the results were accurate as I used it over and over again. I used to to weigh my self hold a chicken then myself without a chicken to know the chickens weight. It works for that with consistent results. My weight was exactly what it was at the doctors office. it holds the weight as I step off the scale too so if I forget the results before I get to pen and paper I can look back and see it.
