I keep this Wera Tool-Check Plus in my bag for quick fixes and it’s been a game changer. The mini ratchet is surprisingly sturdy for its size, and the bit selection covers almost everything I need. The case is compact and keeps everything organized. Only downside: the handle is small, so it’s not ideal for heavy-duty torque. But for light to medium tasks, it’s excellent. Great for EDC or keeping in your car.

The Wera Tool-Check Plus is hands down one of the most thoughtfully engineered compact toolkits I’ve used. Every bit and socket locks in with satisfying precision, and the ratcheting mechanism is incredibly smooth and solid for its size. It’s the perfect blend of portability and performance—ideal for quick jobs, tight spaces, or tossing into a travel tool bag without sacrificing quality. The build feels premium throughout, and the layout makes everything easy to access and organize. A truly professional-grade kit that earns its place in any toolbox.

Fits in jacket pocket and has everything you need for small repairs

This is a great (quality) set for small jobs and small areas to loosen and tighten nuts and bolts. I had gotten one with the metric system which I like a lot, but I recently needed a standard American (Imperial) system when I realized the sockets were not fitting the nuts that needed tightening for a recent task. Since I liked the quality so much with the first one, I got this one as well. It’s so compact and the metal feels like quality metal. The ratchet sounds like it has a very fine toothed, precision gear. I would have liked one larger sized socket rather than the smallest size, which I’ll likely not use. But that’s just a personal preference. This is well worth the money. At the time of this purchase it was $77.00, U.S. There’s a lot in this little kit. I do simple tasks, and I don’t need large, heavy tools. I do like quality tools though, made with quality metals, and this set feels like that to me. It will be a great companion to my Leatherman tools. I was needing a ratchet fro some time now, and they don’t make one.. I definitely recommend this set if you like quality compact tools. When I’ve used it for a while and really feel it’s been given a good test, I will update this review.

This is without doubt the most beautiful set of tools I’ve ever owned. In fact, it’s one of the most beautiful objects I’ve ever owned. It’s perfectly realized. The holder is masterfully designed. The bits and the sockets are well fastened and labeled but are easily accessible. The handle on the side is well positioned and secured. And the adapter and mini ratchet are ingeniously held in place at the top. The bit set is extensive and they and the sockets fit in any standard tool. Yes, the handle and ratchet are very small. But that means that they fill a void for most of us who have the standard-sized versions. But the set also gives us a lot of well made and labeled bits and sockets in a wonderful form factor. And it being Wera, the sockets are colorful and nice to look at. I can’t tell you the number of times that I take out this set just to admire it. It’s simply as close to perfect as a set of tools can be.

This set has come in handy many times. The quality is good. The screwdriver handle smaller than expected, but still functionable.

The quality you get in Wera tools, and the diverse applications of the tools in the Tool-Check Plus, in such a compact form. It’s hard to beat. I wish I was able to get the metric version, but It was actually cheaper to get the Tool-Check Plus Imperial and it came bundled with a Wera ratcheting screwdriver. That was a deal I couldn’t pass up. So if you’re looking to pick up a Tool-Check Plus, look at the bundles. The prices change often.

Great portable tool kit that has a lot of capability. Very high quality but a little pricy for what you get. You could build a kit for less but the Tool-Check Plus comes in a great little organized package that keeps everything secured and easy to use. A very nice piece of kit.

Acheté pour outils de survie en binôme avec 1340 Evo. C'est très pratique pour les passages difficiles, faible encombrement, je l'ai en complément d'un Zyklop Comfort. Seul bémol, le système de rangement un peu faiblard qui ne fait pas honneur aux outils.

Dieser kleine Helfer hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht! Er liegt angenehm in der Hand, ist schön kompakt und lässt sich problemlos verstauen. Trotz seiner Größe erfüllt er seinen Zweck einwandfrei und ist ideal für schnelle Arbeiten, wenn man keine Lust hat, extra in den Keller zu gehen und das große Werkzeug hervorzuholen. Die Verarbeitung macht einen soliden Eindruck, und die Handhabung ist intuitiv. Natürlich ersetzt es keine Profi-Werkzeuge, aber für kleinere Reparaturen und spontane Einsätze ist es einfach perfekt. Ein praktisches Gadget, das ich nicht mehr missen möchte!
