The quality is good, my kid has excellent time swisshing it around. it has become the sensation for kids around the block. red colour is nice and the bkg sound it plays while swirling it in good too. Good time pass. Over the period, retracting it back to smaller shape becomes issue due to external damages. Plastic quality is good.

Used for my preschooler's Darth Vader halloween costume. LOVE it. Between the preschooler and toddler, it gets played with daily. It has held up well to their destructive tendencies (been dropped on concrete and down stairs on several occasions) and still looks and works great. The batteries have only been changed once in 2 months despite daily use. My only complaint is that when you push the button one time, it stays on indefinitely; the button has to be pushed again in order to turn it off. Very minor issue as I'm sure my kiddos would say it adds to the play to not hold the button, but with small kiddos who don't understand the concept of "wasting batteries" it can be annoying how often it is just left lying in a corner flickering in all its light saber sfx glory.
