Cheaper than box store and worth a purchase

Inexpensive, but worked well for drilling multiple times into granite.

Drilled 8 holes in 8” poured foundation walls

Needed a drill for using Dexpan to break rocks. It was really easy at about 1" per minute without having to press on drill very much. Put in qty 3 holes about 12" deep.

It's a well made masonry bit, good value for the money and was delivered quickly.

If you're going to drill a lot of holes into concrete, do yourself a favor and buy a drill designed for SDS-Max bits. The difference is amazing. Before, we were using SDS-plus bits with powerful drills, but it took my mason on average 1 minute per hole. After switching to SAD-Max, he drilled similar holes in 15 seconds. We were amazed, and the guy has drilled many thousands of holes in his life. I had never head of the Sabre brand of drill bits, but it's the only brand I could find in the size that I needed. It performed beautifully, drilling hole after hole, as if it were into butter, and yielding as many as 70 holes per bit. vs. about 40-50 for the SDS-plus bit. I will be looking again for that brand in the future.

Bang for the buck hard to beat. 1-1/8" hole though 10" deep of rock and mortar was like butter using a makita SDS Max rotary hammer
