Tourna 16g Premium Polyester Tennis String
I'm a 4.0 USTA Tournament Player and used 2 reels (660 ft = 20 racquets) of Tourna Big Hitter Blue (BHB) [16g & 17g] for the past 2 years, currently on my 3rd reel of BHB (17g). Came accross Tourna Premium Poly ($34.99) while browsing at Amazon.com and became curious since it is less than half the price of BHB ($72.95). Most, if not all of the popular online tennis stores do not carry this product. So, i ordered a reel and strung my racquet (Dunlop 100 4D 16x19 string pattern) at 48 lbs. I was amazed at how easy it is to string this poly into my racquet particularly the crosses, seems to me there's no difference with BHB or any other Tourna poly stings i had used (IMHO) as far as stringing into a racquet. Right after stringing the racquet, i then proceeded to the tennis courts along with my ball hopper (just in case there's nobody to hit with). Started my service motion slowly just to get a feel of the new strings hitting the ball so, i basically doing a top spin serve followed by flat serve. Then, i cranked up the racquet head speed onto my normal head speed and i didn't feel any difference between the premium poly vs. the BHB. Then, i grab my other Dunlop 100 4D racquet strung with BHB (same tension at 48 lbs) and hit some serves. All in all, i end up using approximately more than 300 balls (my ball hopper is rated 75 balls). A tennis buddy came in right after i finished my 4th bucket and we hit for more than an hour. I predominently used the racquet strung with the premium poly during our rally since i wanted to make sure this isn't fluke. To my amazement, there's so much feel (i.e., crisp, good ball pocketing) and i can impart a lot of spin on my groundies. Power is about right to my taste and the strings didn't move at all even if i hit powerful groundstrokes and volleys. Based on my previous experience with BHB, a slight movement of the main strings could be seen after hitting more than an hour or so. Overall, there's no tangible significant difference between the higher price BHB vs. the premium poly based on my testing other than the price and slight movement of the BHB strings. I wish the popular online tennis stores carry this product but kudos to Amazon for having this in. I'll probably order a couple of reels in a month or so just in case they discontinue producing this excellent product.

For the price, you can't go wrong
Cheap and effective. I've strung my rackets three or four times so far and haven't had a problem playing with these strings. Of course, as with any change (in racket or strings or grips, etc.) it took a bit to adjust. But given a bit of time on the court, I have been using nothing but these strings and have no problems. They break every couple months as a 4.0 player who is not a heavy hitter and plays a couple times a week.

Cheap
I sniped it at 35$ for the whole reel. I strung it at 48 lbs in a wilson blade 98 16x19. Off the hit it feels like a plank. I have a stringer so i am okay with it going bad quicker than higher quality stuff. If I were you, have it string really low, like 35-40 lbs or so. Hopefully that would cusion the string bed better. Unless you have 40 or so bucks to get rid off for experimentation… why not?

Biraz daha hissiyatı ve 1.25mm ölçüsünde olsa çok iyi olurdu ama bu fiyata bu maalesef

A tennis partner recommended this inexpensive string to practice stringing, I just got a used Klippermate. I stringed at 53lb, the feeling is quite good for poly string. I used to play with Solinco Outlast 16 my goto string for durability, of course it is stiff but I don't mind. I still need more hours with this string bed but so far so good, some others reviewers said this string loose tension fast, I have yet to see. It is not too stiff or difficult to string when comparing to others poly, the one I found tough to string is the Golden Set Hex poly 16L.
