Q: what are the ingredients? is it biodegradable and eco friendly?

soap manufacturers do not have to put ingredients on the package. It says to go to LemiShine.com/ingredients for list of ingredients or call 888 336 2582. Package says made in USA and "All ingredients in this product have been approved to meet the criteria of the Safer Choice Certification process. Hope this helps. This is an excellent product and it is washed out during the cleaning process for the dishwasher. It is especially good if you do not have soft water.

Q: When using this on a front load washing machine, where do you put the packet, In the tub or where you put the detergent?

I have a top loading washing machine. I put the LemiShine right into the tub NOT the soap dispenser. I have a front loading dish washer and I put LemiShine directly into the bottom of the dish washer, NOT the soap dispenser. This product works really well in both appliances.

I use it for both. A front-loader with a lot of buildup might need more than one cycle and some elbow grease on the door gasket, but if you use this once every month (and keep that door cracked open when not in use) you won't get to that point in the first place. The only difference between this and their washing machine specific product is that the other one comes with wipes to clean the gaskets and such - which you can use any rag to do.

Q: I have treated my washer 3 times with this product and it still smells. Any recommendations?

I have not used this product in my washer before, but a recommendation would depend on the type of washer you have. Front loader have a cleaning cycle and products that are specific for these types of washers, also leaving the washer door open so it can dry out helps. In top loaders usually white vinegar or bleach, diluted in a ratio of 1:1 with water works really well when you run it through a wash cycle with hot water.
