I RECEIVED MY CELESTRON BINOCULARS (10X56) TODAY IN PERFECT CONDITION. THEY CAME 2 DAYS EARLY. THE QUALITY IS BETTER THAN I WAS EXPECTING BASED ON OTHER REVIEWS I READ BUT COMPETITOR COMPANIES SOMETIMES LIE TO INFLUENCE SALES. I FEEL I PICKED THE PERFECT SIZE MAGNIFICATION AND OBJECTIVE LENS FOR GREAT LOW LIGHT VIEWING WITH AN EXIT PUPIL OF 5.6MM THE 8 X 56 WOULD BE THE BEST LOW LIGHT CAPABILITY AS THE HUMAN EYE CAN OPEN TO 7MM BUT I WANTED MORE MAGNIFICATION. THE 12X56 WOULD DROP THE LOW LIGHT VIEWING DOWN TO 4.66MM AND ALSO ADD MORE WEIGHT,FIELD OF VIEW LOCATING AND STABILIZATION CONCERNS. THE IMAGE WAS SHARP AND CLEAR AND COLOR CORRECT WITH THE ABILITY TO SEE FEATHERS ON GEESE AND HAIR ON ANIMALS WITH GREAT DETAIL. THE FOCUS CONTROLS WERE SMOOTH AND TIGHT AND VERY EASY TO USE BOTH MAIN AND DIOPTER FOCUS ADJUSTMENTS. THE 3 STEP EYE CUP RELIEF IS GREAT AS WELL AS THE LENS CAPS WHICH ARE ATTACHED TO THE STRAP AND CAN'T BE LOST. ALSO THE OBJECTIVE LENS CAPS FUNCTION PERFECTLY AS THEY ARE TIGHT AND FLIP DOWN EASILY ARE ALSO ATTACHED TO THE BARRELS AND CAN'T BE LOST. THE PROTECTIVE CARRYING CASE IS RUGGED AND BUILT WELL AS ARE THE 2 STRAPS. THE COMFORT, GRIP AND FEEL OF THE PROTECTIVE RUBBER ARMORER IS EXCELLENT. THEY ARE FILLED WITH DRY NITROGEN GAS MAKING THEM WATERPROOF AND INTERNALLY FOG-PROOF SEALED BY O RINGS. I AM VERY, VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PRODUCT FROM CELESTRON AND CAN'T WAIT TO TAKE IT CAMPING AND 4 WHEELING AT MY FARM IN WV AND MARYLAND. I LOVE TO LOOK AT THE DEER, BEAR, WILDCATS AND OTHER ANIMALS AND WILL BE ABLE TO EVEN AT DUSK AND DAWN. ALSO LOOKING AT THE NIGHT SKY WILL I'M SURE BE AMAZING. I WILL BE ASKING SANTA FOR A TRIPOD AND MOUNT SO I CAN HAVE A MORE STEADY AND LONGER VIEW AS THESE BINOS ARE BUILT VERY WELL , SOLID AND ARE A LITTLE TOO HEAVY TO HOLD FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME. BESIDES ONE HAND HAS TO HOLD A BEVERAGE " RIGHT ". FOR THE MONEY I DON'T THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THE CELESTRON NATURE DX 10X56 FOR MID GRADE, LARGE OBJECTIVE AND MEDIUM MAGNIFICATION, WATERPROOF AND IMPRESSIVE 5.6 EXIT PUPIL AND GOOD WARRANTY. ALL AROUND GREAT CHOICE FOR MID ENTRY LEVEL. I'LL SEE YOU .

Great product, very clear and easy to adjust. I bought as a replacement to some old Nikon ones I had which were fantastic but almost 10x the price. I was pleasantly surprised at how compact these binoculars were and how clear the image was. They're durable with a lovely matte green finish which is easy to keep clean. I've had these on blustery walks in the rain and had no issues, I've also been to the beach and it's done a great job of keeping dust out of the essential areas which would usually hinder their performance.

These are wonderful binoculars. I have an 8x42 binocular that costs twice as much as these and they compare favorably with binoculars costing in the $1,000 range. See wirecutter for reviews of 8x42’s. They are great binoculars. I’m telling you this because these little 8x32’s from Celestron are NOT left in the dust by those other bins. I get clear bright views and the Nature DX 8x32’s work very well with my glasses. Without my glasses, and the eyecups turned all the way out, I get a little wider field of view. I use them both ways. Yes. A larger objective lens will serve you better in twilight and dusk conditions. But these still do pretty good. These are light weight. I put on a padded strap that I already had and these are very comfortable hanging from my neck. While my other bins are better, these are going to be my grab and go bins. I’ll throw them in my daypack for hikes. I’ll keep them in the car for whenever. And they’ll just make a great extra pair of bins if I want to share some binocular adventure with someone else. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I wouldn’t recommend these as astronomical bins. But last night, in moderately light polluted skies, I was able to see Saturn clear enough to know it was Saturn I was in fact looking at. You can have a little fun with these on a clear night. If you’re looking for good performing 8x bins in a smaller format and understand that the optics aren’t the very best, but are still quite good, these are the bins for you. I highly recommend these with that understanding. Unless you are a binocular snob I predict you’ll also think these are wonderful little bins. What you get for the price is a great value.

These are great binoculars. The 56mm lens lets in a lot of light and gives a good image. Others have mentioned a bluring around the edge and it's true, but barely noticable and certainly not intrusive. I particularly like the three-position eye cups. These make it quick and simple to swap between users wearing glasses and those without. I think this will also last much longer than the fold down rubber eypieces that other binoculars use for the same purpose. The accessories are of good quality with a neoprene pad on the strap and a nice case to keep them in.
