What does it mean several unlockable games? and exactly how is a title unlocked

Hello, It just means that there are other games on the disk, and other levels/games within available games, that can be unlocked by completing tasks/levels/etc within the available games.

There are approximately 40 games or so, of the old Sega collection. And some few may involve two-players, but not all games.There are no games involving multiplayer online, as far as this collection goes.

Of course you can save. You have save states and the regular save system.
