Are these strong enough to use for skewers for fruit ?

Yes they are strong enough. They're kind of short so you wouldn't be able to fit a lot of fruit. Maybe 3 grapes. And they're rounded at the end so you'd have to poke the fruit first with something like a toothpick so they don't split. I put 2 or 3 grape tomatoes on them.

Could you use these for cakepop sticks?

maybe if you made small cake pops.........
