A very good crimping tool, with clear instructions and a lot of crimps and shells. Great value for money if you need both. As long as you use the appropriate gauge of wire and the correct notch on the tool you should get strong crimps that make a good connection every time.

really good, also works with JST-PH I had lying around. wire stripper is also a nice plus if you only have a very "basic" one as it lets you cleanly strip various gauges without worrying about breaking strands.

Just to prove that I am not all about negative reviews, I thought it might be nice to rate this kit as a professional looking into amateur kit. This kit is presented in a sturdy case and has all the terminals and associated parts within. The crimp toll is cleverly contained in the upper level. Unlike the crimp tool and terminals in my last review, this system has been clearly thought through. The crimp tool is a delight to use and actually does what it is meant to do, crimp terminals! The terminals and housings are good quality and are fit for purpose. I do wonder where I can get the replacement crimps from in the future however. I have used this to make custom looms for my Arduino project and am very happy with the results. In a word, recommended.

Ive been an electrical engineer for over 20 years yet iv'e never owned a crimping set until now. This is built to a very high standard, just done a detachable headphone cable with it and it worked first time, there are a nice selection of JST connectors in the box, 2,3,4 and 5 pin types Of course you can buy a ton of other types for this crimper, including SATA/Molex PSU and audio connector blocks that will work with this. This will come in handy for my home built mini hifi that im working on, for custom PC builders this tool is a must to do things fully custom, just wished amazon didnt put a big sticker on the box that ripped it lol. The included wire stripper is very high quality too, theyre razor sharp so watch your fingers! The wire stripper also cuts upto M3 bolts also house mains cable (the circle in the center of the cutters) this kit makes light work of making custom cables there are so many possibilities here. I highly recommend this kit 10/10 from me.

I don't often leave reviews, but this crimp set has honestly really surprised me. First of all, it arrived within less than 24 hours. Next, even the cardboard outer box it came in is really well designed - despite the numerous spelling mistakes they have obviously put some effort in here to making it look nice. The inner plastic box with all the bits in is sturdy and well organised with proper separate clips for keeping it closed. The crimp tool itself works great, I am using it to crimp 20-24 AWG Molex terminals, which it isn't even designed for but it does a great job. I haven't had a single issue yet. Each crimp has been physically sturdy and I have tested them with a multimeter - all good. Sometimes the section of the crimp that grabs the wire insulation needs a little tidying up with a set of pliers but I can forgive it that as I'm not using the correct terminals for this tool. It comes with loads of JST connectors too - probably more than the average hobbyist would need. I am building a small model railway and this will be enough for me... I think they're supposed to be PCB mounted but I'm just going to use them as standard connectors.

The crimp tool seems of good quality. It is worth bearing in mind that the kit only comes with 200 each of male and female terminals which is about half what would be required to use all the plugs in the kit. I guess they assume you won't use them all. That is a bit cheap though given it would have cost pennies to provide enough. Also mine came with less than the 200 female terminals it is supposed to have. They were also loose, not on a strip as I would have expected which make it easy for them to get damaged and tricky to fish them out of the box.

Bought this so I could crimp some dupont connectors to connect some wires to header pins. I think this tool set is great value. The tool itself is very nice, operates smoothly, and feels high quality. There are also plenty of connectors and housings included. I like that it also comes with a storage box to keep everything together. I also appreciated the instructions that are included. If you are new to crimping these types of connectors (like I was) make sure to read these carefully and reference the diagrams/images for whichever type of connector you are crimping. The direction you feed the connector+wire into the tool does matter. After one false start (my first crimp attempt was unsuccessful due to me not reading the instructions), I read the instructions and was able to crimp multiple connectors successfully with no issues.

Das PEBA Crimpzangen Dupont Stecker Set hat meine Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Die Crimpzange ist sauber verarbeitet, liegt gut in der Hand und ermöglicht präzise, gleichmäßige Crimpungen, auch bei kleinen Dupont-Kontakten. Selbst ohne große Vorerfahrung erzielt man schnell sehr gute Ergebnisse. Besonders praktisch ist das umfangreiche Zubehör: verschiedene Stecker, Buchsen und Pins sind ordentlich sortiert und decken viele Anwendungen ab – ideal für Elektronik-, Arduino- oder DIY-Projekte. Alles wirkt hochwertig und durchdacht. Für mich ist dieses Set sehr funktional, zuverlässig und preislich absolut fair. Wer ein solides Dupont-Crimpwerkzeug sucht, macht hier definitiv nichts falsch. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Queste pinze funzionano. Avevo acquistato precedentemente un altro paio di pinze più economiche su Amazon, ma in quel caso i risultati erano inaccettabili, letteralmente disastrosi: non c'è niente da fare: "chi meno vuole spendere più spende". Fortunatamente il reso su Amazon è facile e veloce. Posto fotografie della fase d'inserimento del connettore col risultato ottenuto: in una foto è possibile osservare il connettore in corretta posizione ma PRIMA dell'inserimento a fondo nella ganascia, in un'altra foto il connettore correttamente inserito a fondo e in una terza foto il connettore ben fissato al cavo. Per svolgere l'intera operazione stringo la pinza di due scatti, inserisco forzando un minimo il connettore , inserisco a quel punto il filo (spellato 3mm. o poco meno, secondo indicazioni nel manuale d'istruzioni) e infine stringo. Tutto sommato abbastanza facile anche se non immediato. ********************************************************************************* Aggiornamento a distanza di parecchi mesi: Prendendoci la mano non solo l'operazione diventa rapida, ma i risultati sono del tutto costanti. La crimpata produce un risultato affidabile, robusto e tecnicamente professionale - occorre stringere in due fasi il connettore. Ho terminato tutti i connettori del kit, ormai per crimpare ci metto mediamente 5...7 secondi a filo. La prima volta crimpo con la gola "centrale" (delle tre quella al centro), poi termino con una seconda crimpata sulla gola più stretta, quella verso l'estremità dell'attrezzo. Centinaia di connettori messi, sono soddisfattissimo. Nuovo aggiornamento: sono proprio entusiasta. Ormai sono diverse migliaia i connettori messi (credo oltre 5000) e il risultato è sempre identico: lavoro professionale, rapido e sempre costante: un acquisto davvero azzeccatissimo.
