Botte Piccola Balsamic Vinegar IGP, 250ml Bottle

This is the best balsamic vinegar I've ever had. It is thick and syrupy, but has a hint of sweetness and a lot of different flavors. This vinegar works well in cooking (though not too hot, or you may cook off some of the flavors), making simple salads into great meals, and we have enjoyed it drizzled over fresh strawberries and over vanilla ice cream (if you get this, try it just once). We originally got this as a wedding gift, and it was one of our favorites. While it is expensive, that just means that you will likely savor it more and save it for special occasions. I will continue to purchase this vinegar.

This is by far the BEST balsamic vinegar we have ever had, been ordering it for a few years. My entire family is hooked on this product. It is expensive, but well worth the money. I sometimes give it as a gift, that’s how good it tastes!

I’ve tried a lot of products and this has a taste unlike any other basalmic vinegars. I’ve even tried it on vanilla bean ice cream as suggested on another review and it was pretty good. It’s good for dipping and fresh veggies. It’s sweet and slightly reduced and thicker in consistency and texture. Overall delicious. Also bought for my parents who are avid home chefs and they absolutely love it.

Disappointed in this bottle. Have had this exact product before and it was awesome. Nice and thick... with nice complexity. This batch is runny and much more vinegary tasting. Not really enjoying... and given the price, disappointing.

Beth B -I had purchased the less expensive bottle of balsamic vinegar from this line about a year ago and was very pleased with it. I'm disappointed in this one, especially considering the price! It has an "off" taste to it that I can't identify... maybe a little molasses--y or sorghum-ish flavor that isn't appealing to me. Considering the price, I'm extremely disappointed. I would purchase the $25.00 bottle again but not this one.

I use this vinegar cooking vegetables and meats. It is so concentrated that only a small drop or two is required for a great burst of flavor. It is absolutely "bite free" and is by far the smoothest and best tasting vinegar that I have ever used. I average a bottle every six months or so. It is expensive but goes a very long way when you use it. I highly recommend it.

I have ordered this before and I will order it again, this is our FAVORITE Balsamic Vinegar and well worth the price.
