Bavarian Style Sauerkraut From Germany, 24 Ounce Jar

Absolutely love it. Taste amazing.

This is a delicious Bavarian sweet sauerkraut that my family have always used. Wonderful with pork and mashed potatoes and green peas. Been buying this brand for years. Jars are fully packed and minimal juice. Not too salty especially when cooked with the roast— I use a pork butt, bone in.

This sauetkraut is not spicy. It is a great side dish and on my chicken sausages. You can add the seasonings you want. I have a friend who adds brown sugar and butter and bakes it. Good because it is fermented food.

It tastes good and seems to be as it'sDescribed on Amazon. I'm not an expert, but it's as good as i have tasted From a bottle.

Easily the best sauerkraut I have found. Goes with everything. Keeps well stays delicious.

I don’t know why so many good reviews! Especially at this price!! I LOVE Bavarian sauerkraut but this didn’t even taste like it! It had practically no juice and it wasn’t in the least bit sweet!! I can’t seem to find Bavarian sauerkraut in the stores anymore so I paid this price for it and was totally disappointed!!

I used to buy supermarket sauerkraut in a plastic bag and originally ordered this sauerkraut to get the 24 oz glass jar for easy storage of the supermarket brand after opening the bag. However, I liked this one so much that I now just buy it instead of the supermarket brand, and foods in plastic aren't that great for you anyway. This is better tasting and in a healthier, easier container.
