Berlin Modisch Contemporary Square Single Cylinder Deadbolt Lock for Front Door Entrance Modern High Security Heavy Duty – Iron Black Finish

We live on the lake and recently painted all of our entry doors, for a total of five. Never had seen this product in stores but really liked the square look. These deadbolt locks were used on three of the doors and also purchased the entry lever door handles to match. The door handles were a new product and were listed as coming soon. I emailed the company and received a reply within hours concerning the date of availability for the matching square door levers. My husband installed these and was very impressed with the workmanship and I am very pleased with the look. We would definitely purchase this item again.

This lock was easy to install, and seemed to be of good quality. Unfortunately, it appeared based on other reviews that you can’t re-key it very easily and I needed to have other deadbolts in the house keyed to match so I ended up returning it. Easy return process.

I bought this stylish item to replace a similar lock on a new apartment I bought. After several months, I belatedly got a chance to install it only to find out that the keys were missing. Very disappointing. Replacement lock would be required.
