Thanks to someone else writing a detailed review, I learnt that sink drains and tub drains in the UAE are the same diameter - I took a chance and bought two of these and they work perfectly for both the bathroom sink and tub/ shower and THEY WORK PERFECTLY. The cap is pretty big in diameter and looks a little big in the sink but they work so well at stopping not just hair but dust and lint and anything else from going down the drain. It's not a set-and-forget thing; if you have long hair, you need to clean it at least once a week. If you notice things draining slowly, then just give it a clean and things to back to perfect.

I've tried many shower drains from different brands and material and this one is by far the best at catching hairs - especially since it goes inside the drain and not just covers it. I haven't had any clogs with it or noticed the drainage speed decrease. For maintenance, I'll clean it out every other day which only takes a few seconds. The only caveat is that over time, the silicone where it connects to the plastic top can loosen and get crusty so I'd recommend replacing it at least once a year.

Ne avevo da anni uno della stessa marca, efficientissimo nel raccogliere i capelli nella doccia, ma in silicone bianco, che con gli anni ha fatto delle macchiette nere che non si tolgono neanche con la candeggina. Questo ha il corpo in silicone nero, spero così di aver risolto il problema, comunque super super consigliatissimo

It fits perfectly, it traps all hair and it is easy to clean. The only problem is that it slows down the water drainage if the water flow is too big. Overall, it is a great product.
