Comfortable and High Quality
My old earpads were nasty and flaking off. They were the non velour ones and these installed nicely onto my DT 770 Pros. These feel very comfortable and I probably wont have to worry about flaking like my old ones. These also don't feel like ice cubes on your head on a cold morning. Highly recommend if you're looking to replace your old ones

My DT-770 are like brand new again!
I have a 5~ year old pair of Beyerdynamic DT-770 studio cans. Since I've bought them, I've gone through about four pairs of ear pads. A couple were some awful aftermarket ones that either fell apart over time (like leather), sounded like garbage, and/or were insanely difficult to install.I wanted the headphones like the way they were when I bought them, so I bought these brand-name original Beyerdynamic ear pads. They were shipped nicely, and to my surprise, this also included a replacement set of the black foam inserts as well. After replacing those as well as the pads, my headphones sound stellar again! The Beyerdynamics are just awesome for having absolute balanced clarity and sound, no crazy bass boost or anything. These replacement pads bring the headphones back to that level again, making them great for music production and headphone mixing.I highly recommend these. They're a little pricey, but totally worth it. I also found them very easy to install. Maybe cause I've done it a few times, and I've had aftermarket ones that were insanely hard to install. But I had no trouble getting them on, just takes a little bit of practice and patience.Last note - my original set of these got very funky and dirty over time. Despite trying to clean them, I had to toss them. I did a lot of vocal recording in them during one hot, sweaty summer. If you're gonna be doing anything like that, I would suggest a different set of headphones, maybe open-backed, breathable headphones. Save these for the comfy studio work and casual listening.

Transforms DT770 Pro black edition!
I am a musician with mild-to moderate high frequency hearing loss, and I wear hearing devices. This makes choosing headphones more complicated than it might be. I own the black edition of the DT770 Pro with the black vinyl earpads. I never got on with them very well - their sound was too bright, with dominant mid-upper treble which made sounds like cymbals loud and grating, to the detriment of the midrange in particular. As a hearing aid wearer, I found that they also tended to cause feedback in my devices, which was irritating. It occurred to me that the more reflective surface of the vinyl pads might be partly the culprit, so I bought these OEM earpads, which also include a new foam transducer cover. The results were better than I expected - these are now my daily driver headphones!Pros:1. Much more comfortable than the vinyl pads - I could wear these all day.2. The new transducer cover considerably improves the sound signature by attenuating the inbuilt treble peak. Now the treble sounds clear and detailed without being too loud, and the whole sound signature is more balanced and musical.3. No more feedback (not an issue unless you wear hearing devices).Cons:1. They are a little awkward to install, so be patient. Beyerdynamic recommend heating the fold with a hairdryer, which might indeed make it easier. I managed without that, though.

Perfect
Perfect replacements. I got black when my originals where grey and got dirty fast. These are holding up great and feel like the originals.

Fits Custom Game perfectly
The old ear pads were vinyl and peeling leaving black stuff everywhere including my face. Decided to replace them. After some research, found out that these would work for my Custom Game headphones. Installing the second one was easy, the first one took a little trial and error until I worked out the 'method'.All I needed was a thing screwdriver to pop the retaining plastic that holds down the foam (that goes over the speaker) and a old hotel key card. The key card is flimsy enough to get underneath the plastic lip that holds onto the earphone. The key to getting them on is to keep constant pressure of the lip that you get onto the earphone early on when you start work the pad on. After a short period of time, less pressure will be needed. Also note that the earpad will continue to twist in a circle around the earphone almost all the way until the end. This works in your favor. To start, slide the corner of the key card or something similar under the lip that will go onto the earphone. Positioning the earpad slightly above the earphone and push that on. It will be a small amount that is on. You do this in small incremental amounts. Don't start too close to one of the hinges because you will need to rotate the pad and it will get to a point where you cannot near the end. So you want that time to be in the open and not behind the hinges.Once you have it started, keep the earpad over the earphone perfectly aligned as it will when it is on. Keep the pressure on the area you just put on and then slightly twist the pad up so you have a new part to flip on. Then use the key card to get underneath a new part and flip it on the earphone. It is a lever action. Almost like prying off the top of a paint can. The flap of the earpad will come up slightly and use your index finger that is holding the pad in place to push the flipped up part on. Where you push is where the flap meets the earpad. Minor twist up and rinse and repeat. The flap that you are pulling up is pretty tough. Using the keycard, it had rounded edges and was reasonably flexible. I was worried about damaging it at first, but you can test how tough it is on the old pad and that might make you feel a little better. Initially I had a few kinks from doing the techinque above, but I went around the edges and smoothed them out. Now I do not see any.Overall, once I got the groove of how to put it on, the second on took me literally a minutes to get on. The first one took 5x as long as I figured it out.Overall, expensive for what it is, but it is better than the stock vinyl ones in terms off comfort.
