I purchased 3 of the DollaTek CJMCU-5351 Si5351A Clock Generators for a frequency synthesis project, and overall, it’s a capable tool with a few quirks worth noting. This module provides a wide range of output frequencies and has a stable PPL 25MHz crystal, making it versatile for radio projects, microcontroller timing, and other applications that need multiple clock outputs.One of the biggest strengths of this module is the Si5351A chip itself, which supports up to three independent clock outputs that can be configured with a fine degree of control through I2C. This flexibility allows for precise clock generation, which is great for custom electronics projects and frequency-based applications. The output frequencies are stable, and I didn’t observe any significant drift during continuous operation.However, there are a few limitations. For starters, the documentation that comes with it is minimal, so expect a bit of trial and error or the need to reference third-party guides, especially if you're new to clock generators.Lastly, while the I2C control is straightforward, it can be challenging to integrate with some microcontrollers due to voltage compatibility and pull-up resistors, which may require additional components.Overall, the DollaTek CJMCU-5351 works as advertised and is a good value for advanced users who need a configurable clock source. Cheap and works great
I'm using this as part of a GBS-Control project and for the price (£4.99) it's great value. The board came complete as the pictures shown. It was dead easy to set up and performs as it should.

Dead on arrival
I swapped out a known good part for this one and it didn't work. There was no reply from an I2C address scan.So, I've no choice but to give it 1 star. It looks like it is quite well manufactured (solder is neat etc) so maybe I just got a dead chip
