Sun Bum Original Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion, Broad Spectrum SPF 50, 6 Fl Oz

I used the Sun Bum 50 spf for a week in Mexico just a few weeks ago, when I had no base tan and didn't even get slightly pink. As I age, I'm getting more careful about my skin, and this is great. I love the smell and consistency of the sunscreen. The only complaints I have would be that I've noticed it can leave a white cast on the dark interior of my car, and sometimes it'll almost get thick enough that it will kind of build up and come off, kind of like dry skin. I've been buying this for years, it also helps extend your sunless tanner!

I don't have enough good things to say about this sunscreen. I bought it at target one day because I was out of sunscreen, it was around $14 which is a little steep but since Amazon users rated it almost 5 stars I figured I'd try it. This sunscreen with change your life. Period. It's the best smelling sunscreen I've ever smelled like coconuts, Hawaii and tropical forest in a bottle. The smell isn't even the best part, it's vegan! No animal testing, it's hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. So, not only does it not test on animals it doesn't have all the horrible chemicals in it and it STILL works 100% better than big name brands out there. Magic in a bottle. It goes on silky (not oily) and has a matte finish. It moisturizes your skin and leaves it looking wonderful all day long. Surprisingly a little bit goes a long way, a 6oz bottle has lasted me 3 weeks and that's applying it from neck to toe everyday. The number 1 thing that sold me is its ability to protect you from the sun. I went for a 3 hr bike ride, I applied sun bum everywhere but I missed a spot on both shoulders l. I got sunburn on those spots I missed on my shoulders and was protected everywhere else. That's just applying it once, it's water resistant so even if you're sweating your still good. It's not thick or greasy it's a lightweight formula. It will transform your outdoor experience trust me. The creators of sunbum hit the needle on the head. If you're doing any kind of outdoor activity from running, landscaping, bike riding, swimming etc sunbum has your back. Literally.

It's hard to find vegan sunscreen that isn't a spray. I've tried different sprays (including the spray version of this brand) and they tend to irritate my eyes. I'm a cyclist, so I need something that lasts and can hold up to sweat. This sunscreen fits the bill. I burn easily, so I would notice if this wasn't working. In fact, I went out without gloves a few weeks back and forgot to put sunscreen on my hands. I was only out for 90 minutes and my hands got burnt pretty baldly- to the point that they peeled later. So yes, I can confidently say that this product is working. It goes on easily without feeling greasy. Your skin will look a little shiny, but nothing extreme. It has a nice smell to it. It doesn't burn my eyes. I'm not sure what more you could want besides a lower price, but it's a great product and worth a little extra.

Sun Bum SPF 50 is my fave – not just for shielding me from the sun, but because it smells incredible. Sun protection with a bonus tropical scent? Count me in! 🏖️

Came when it was supposed to and was what I bought. Came sealed. Good sunscreen for body, would not recommend for face though.

I bought this after using a mineral sunscreen that was hard to apply when wet and left me with pretty bad sunburn after half a day out on the water. First up, it applies very easily, and leaves no visible residue. It also smells wonderful. Most importantly however, it WORKS! It's protected me from sunburn during a day of kayaking at sea under the sun, with re-application of course. The great thing is it can be reapplied when wet, though it takes a bit more effort to work it in completely. I did knock 1 star off as it's not very clear whether this particular product is reef-safe (I don't think it is, I don't see any reef-safe logo on the tube). If I'm proven wrong, the star will come back.

The product works, it's not greasy and easy to apply.

I really love this sunscreen. It smells great and applies evenly, rubbing in so it is a clear lotion. I haven't noticed my skin getting burned when using this product and I am fair-skinned, easily burned in long sun-exposure. I will continue to be a customer of Sun Bum and maybe try out some other products in the future. I also really like what the company does with their profits, helping bring sun protection to playgrounds across the country. That is a such a great thing to be helping with, preventing harmful sun damage in the lives of so many kids!
