Mopar Fuel/Water Separator Filter Kit (68197867AB)

The Mopar Fuel/Water Separator Filter Kit (68197867AB) is exactly what my truck needed. As an OEM part, the fit is flawless, installation was quick, and it works perfectly with my 6.7L Cummins engine. The build quality feels solid, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my fuel system is protected from water and debris. My truck runs smoother, and I know I’m getting the same dependable performance as the factory-installed filter. A must-have for any Cummins owner who wants reliability and longevity!

BUYER BEWARE!!! I have purchased two of these separators that did not flow fuel like other reviews have stated. My suspicion is that these are NOT oem filters and seller is in no way affiliated with Mopar.

Exact OEM replacement! The packaging is great and sealed perfectly to prevent any contamination to the inside of the fuel filter so you will definitely be getting a oem quality product. The filter does also come with 2 new gaskets for the WIF sensor and for th filter itself. It fits perfectly into it's dedicated spot, and functions as it should. The price was great as well, I got it around $44 per unit, so definitely cheaper than any other website or dealership!

Great factory product

Never owned a vehicle where you needed to buy the manufactures filters. Unless you installed a custom filtration system you need this filter. I don't know why but the cheaper ones leak, come loose or don't fit at all. Some have said they collapse. Due to the design of the filter, I have not had good luck with the knock offs. Issue for me is the inner o-ring. You need to hold pressure against the filter while turning. I cross threaded the base once and had to replace it. That is why I just buy these now. Obviously the fit is perfect on the OEM filters.

I always bought original equipment for my truck to do maintenance. I put this water separator in my 2018 Ram 2500 with a 6.7 L Cummins put in the front filter as well cycled the key a few times to get fuel pressure and the truck did not want to start tried the process a few more times, I wasn’t getting fuel to the front filter. I looked on the Cummins form and someone suggested to check the inside of the water separator to see if the plastic nipple is at the right height to let fuel in, of course, the level of the plastic nipple was too low and did not allow fuel to go into the filter. There is word on the forums that Amazon is selling knock off filters, which I saw a brand that had the symbol that resembles the Mopar symbol. As you see in the pictures on the box the filter came in is a genuine Mopar part but wrong configuration. Don’t know if it’s a cheap imitation filter or Mopar had a bad day making filters

Never had issues for our ram diesel. Ease of use and replacement. Only suggestion is to do your homework and know how to tell counterfeits. They are all over. From fuel filters to air filters.

Fits perfectly on my 2014 Ram 2500 6.7 diesel. A little cumbersome to install, but worth it, saves quite a bit of money from paying a dealership to complete.
