Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was cute and it was large. I wanted to try this brand of toys.Toy quality:They seem sturdy and so far they have held up well. I got two different toys to try. Usually my dog has them ripped open and squeakers pulled out within an hour.Noise level:they have squeakers and crinkly plastic and neither is annoying.Value for money:seems to be worth the money.

My Shih Tzu loves it. He hasn’t stopped playing with it from the moment I opened it. Unfortunately he ripped it within 20 minutes.

Yes, I've said it!! I've been a dog mum for over 40 years and I work with mostly giant breeds with aggression issues. I've had every breed and mix imaginable and they have all been able to destroy the coveted polish dog toy with a squeaker, usually with 15 minutes they are destroyed and the squeaker is on the mouth of a dog as I chase it around to be sure they don't swallow it. The GoDog PlayClean squeaky plush dog toys are amazing!! I've have a Blue Heeler that defluffs a toy on 2 minutes flat, she hasn't even been able to open a seam on the GoDog squeaky Plush Dog Toys, not one of them!! I was so amazed I ordered 6 more GoDog toys, all different varieties of GoDog brand toys. Amazingly the dog toy basket is full of plush squeaky toys, all of which are still intact, still plush and the squeaker still work in all of them and believe me, the Heeler has worked on one of another for hours. This is a plus in my life, I have multiple dogs that are forever in my home & I will foster/adopt more dogs in the future, and they can all enjoy these GoDog. toys. It used to make no sense to me,to buy dog toys, as they were only ruined within minutes, it was simply like throwing away money. I promise you, try one of these Godog plush squeaky dog toys, you will be amazed at how tough and durable they are, and how much your dogs will enjoy them. They also claim to help work against germs and I can also report that after weeks of being played with, they still don't have that "dog toy smell", looks like they need to be washed, but that only normal. THIS IS the Holy Grail my crazy dog friends!! The Holy Grail Of dog toys!! I almost didn't want to review these GoDog toys, for fear that it would drive the prices of them up, especially after other dog families found out how amazing these toys really are. I am not a paid sponsor, simply a dog mom.

My reasons for loving this toy: first off, my purchase of the Elephant arrived a day early; secondly, the toy is adorable and very well made. There are 3 “squeakers” in the body. One is a round ball located in the stomach, and two smaller “discs” in each of the feet (at least that is where I presumed them to be) which trigger “PLAY time!” There is also “crackle” in the ears. I felt a little remorse handing over this cutie, but that was the point of purchase; I hoped it would last a while. Our 1yr old GoldLab mix has been known to chew apart a three ring toy that was very hard rubber as well as removing the “hair” of tennis balls, popping and chewing the ball into bits. His toy ropes end up as shreds throughout the house. That said, I wasn’t sure this toy would stand up, but I had hope. Enter the elephant…..adorable! And doomed…he snatched it and happily trotted off to his bed. Within 5min, he had pulled off the tail, and within 10min he had ripped off a foot to reveal one squeaker (seams gave way). By a few hours later, “El” had been thoroughly de-feeted and unarmed, and I recovered the squeakers for my own piece of mind. Now, you might think this a sad/bad review, but it isn’t. I have learned that there is a difference in being a rugged “chewer” and being a neurotic “shredder”. I have no regrets with the purchase nor that it had no chance with our pup; without the squeakers and stuffing, our pup still carries his buddy happily around the house. He likes the crinkle in the ears and hasn’t torn those open (which surprises me). It’s his new friend. I do believe this toy to be a very good investment esp for most “normal” pups...the fabric itself has held up well, good size, cute buddy, and happy fun for a pet. I like it too….in fact, there was a hesitation as to if I wanted to keep it myself. lol PS-I have not contacted the company as I cannot fault the product; some pups are just master shredders. ;D (Photos show Rio's destructive prowess.)

This toy has outlasted any other dog toy I have ever bought. I have one large and one medium dog who share toys, fight over toys, chew them to death and still play with them. It might be because it isn't one of their favorites. I don't know. All I know is that our house is littered with dog toys in different states of destruction and this elephant toy has very little damage. It has definitely been in the dog toy rotation.I had this toy for 2 months without any major damage. The day I wrote the review the dogs tore the leg off! I still think it is a good toy. Some toys lose the stuffing or squeaker the first day.

The pictures make this toy look bigger than it is so READ the specs and reviews. I normally check these and unfortunately did not in this case.This toy is barely bigger than my iPhone 13. My dog is almost 50 pounds and will definitely destroy this in less than a day on Christmas. We've purchased these toys before because they are decent quality and he loves soft toys at times. However, he is an aggressive chewer and has destroyed these in less than a day. We usually end up destuffing then once he gets them open and he still plays with the cloth.$10 isn't terrible pricing if your pup isn't aggressive. There are better toys for them than this for the same price that won't get destroyed in a day and are bigger.I only recommend this for small pups. Non-aggressive chewers. Or if you just want to throw the $10 away to see your puppy happy for a few minutes.
