Well made and sturdy, solid wood with no veneers or particle board, beautiful to look at
It's solid wood and very well made. Fasteners have steel threaded inserts so no worry about screws pulling out. It's very sturdy and was easy to assemble. All pieces are sanded smooth. It doesn't soak up stain as well as some other woods, so it's lighter in color than I wanted after staining. There were a couple of minor spots where there must have been glue drop residue and the stain did not take at all, but still it is beautiful and I am very happy with the purchase.
