30ft PMMA Plastic Optic Fiber Side Glow Cable for LED Light Source (0.06in)

I purchased the 0.12" (~3mm) side glow variant and found both the side and end glow qualities to be very bright, even along the 30' length with just a flashlight arbitrarily aimed at the end. I will only be using 2" lengths of this material which should exceed the expectations for my application.

Works fine. Stated size of 0.16 measured between 0.146 to 0.153. I think they should call it a 0.15 fiber. That being said, it works as expected. Just be sure your design will work with this smaller diameter.

6mm cable was able to pass light perfectly through the entire 30ft length end to end no side glow.

I need to state that I did not use any kind of connector to attach this glow cable to my LED. Perhaps my opinion would have been much different had I done so. I decided not to keep it for 2 reasons. First, and foremost, the "side glow" was not bright enough for my needs. Secondly, I was trying to use the cable in a way that required it to be bent in a much smaller radius than it appears the product is capable of accepting. it doesnt pass light thru it for any decent length, you might get 1-3 feet depending on lite source led 1 foot blue laser 500mw 3 feet very dissapointing
