概ね気に入って使用してます。BBQで肉を焼く為の使用ではなく鍋の加熱温度管理に使用しており、プローブのコード部分が防水で無いことからシリコンチューブで被覆する等、多少の加工をしてますが設定温度になると本体からもアプリを通じてスマホからも知らせてくれるのは便利です。たた、電池の消費はなんとなく多い気はします。

So far it works well although I have not had a chance to verify the temperature readings against known temperatures (such as boiling water). My issue is that the package content description fails to mention that it does in fact come with a probe clip for your grill. This is an added bonus and is a good thing that it comes with it, but because it fails to mention that in the package contents, and also fails to show it in all the pictures, I bought a separate one when I ordered this (the cheapest on Amazon is $5). Had I known it came with one, I would not have ordered it, so I hope I save someone the time and money by posting this.

We have used this in our smoker approximately 10 times or so now over the last several months. It is very accurate and actually prevented us from ruining four Boston butts that we recently smoked. Our smoker was packed with all four, and the original top mounted smoker thermometer kept reading very low temp. This was due to the fact that the heat was "trapped" on the bottom side of the pork and the top of the chamber was much cooler (no room for the heat to rise as the smoker was too full). I kept looking at my Inkbird and saw the trend (it has a trend graph in the app) and decided to move one of the probes to an open gap between the meat. Sure enough, the temps were way too high on the bottom and too cool on the top. There is no way I would have known that if I would not have been using this thermometer and app. We adjusted the cooking positions, etc. and was able to save the day and the food! Having the Bluetooth app is super awesome, and I like that the base unit also displays the temps for when I am sitting nearby. This thing is well made, we have dropped it a couple of times onto the brick patio. The sensors are holding up very well, which is nice since they are in and out of heat, the wash, etc. We are very happy with it.

First “app” thermometer I’ve had so just having the ability to monitor temps remotely on your phone is pretty awesome. About as fast as you can download the app, you can start using it. Very simple and very well made device (I got 2 probes). But, do have to agree with some of the other reviewers as to how far it will still connect with your phone.I barely get 50-60 feet before I get a shrieking alarm on my phone (trust me, you can’t miss it) indicating that the connection is lost. Still, it works for me. I love sitting on my couch and knowing that my smoker is holding the proper temp. Just know that you won’t get close to the indicated range but still, a really great thermometer for the price.And don’t forget to allow for elevation if you check it in boiling water. Only got 207and 208 on the two probes. Was going to return it until I remembered that water boils at a lower temp at altitude. Looked up my location in Nevada (2700’) which extrapolates to around 208 degrees. Doesn’t get much more accurate than that.

Finally gave up on my old iGrill as replacing the probes is about as much as a new sensor. 'Already an owner of several inkbird products, it was nice to see they had this.I grill on my Vision grill and depend on a temp device for doneness of meat. This is the main usage of this sensor. I tested the probe out on chicken and the settings in the app were a refreshing upgrade from the Weber app/igrill. Very intuitive app, easy to use and custom setpoints are awesome. I set my alarm for a couple degrees below done because I know by the time I get it off it will still be cooking. Well, 165 is perfect doneness of chicken and the device didn't disappoint to deliver. ....After the chicken I tried indoors on Broiled Lobster tails. I like to bake them for a few minutes, remove, butter/final season and then Broil them 'till 145 = perfect tails.The price and performance of this unit ia the best in class and they even threw in a grill clip for one of the probes.This is my go to temp device that I use and depend on a couple times a week. I would buy again and recommend.Keep the innovation coming Inkbird - nice!
