How realistic is this to be used by a 7 year old? she likes minecraft on the ipad. is this too advanced for them?

If they can read well they should be able to use it quite easily. Search on YouTube for JaysTwoCents Kano review. He let his daughter review the kit with him which was quite informative and convinced me to buy the kit for my children. I will introduce it first to my 11 year old as English is our second language but for a native speaking English child I think a 7 year old could master the concepts. Hope that helped. Enjoy.

Does it support 220V?

I believe so.. you can plug it at any usb 5v adapter.. I even plugged mine on a battery pack, those that you commonly use to charge phones.

does a mac work with it?

Most laptops and iMacs only support HDMI video output and the Computer Kit needs an HDMI video input. Because of this, using the Computer Kit with these devices is not supported.
