Great for urban sketching. The ink flow is steady and lasts. Great value for the money and doesn't run when watercolor is added. In fact, it works really well with watercolor.

Love these!! I had to get these for an art class and had a great time learning how to use them and when to use each one. The quality is great and I expect them to last a long time. They also don’t smear which is a huge plus! Overall great markers that I continue to use outside of school!

I recently tried another brand which touts its ‘pigment’ ink and was just a little less expensive. Although the other brand is reputable, the ink just didn’t measure up. Side by side Sakura beat them, hands down. Some of the things I really like about these pens are: They are fade resistant, vibrant, won’t smudge or rub off once it’s dry (I don’t have to worry about my hand turning black when I’m reworking a project), smooth and a consistent flow. They have never, ever, disappointed me. So worth the extra few cents.

Fantastic pens for drawing! I'm new to using these and have tried other brands, but really love these! I like this pack because it allows me to sample the various tip sizes. Quality of ink is great, I haven't tested it's water proofness, but I don't doubt that it is. Would definitely recommend!

these are perfect for my daughter. she has recently gotten into art and she says these pens are great.

Would have liked a shorter range of point sizes. Also, there were no options to buy just a couple of pens.

At least, I THINK they are fairly new. Because there's no way to really tell, since Amazon rarely shows when products are released anymore... Which is aggravating, because that's like one of the main statistics customers need to know in order to compare products while shopping out here. However, I DID wind up going and finding out on my own when Sakura came out with the 10 and 12 fineliner pen sizes. And so, for anyone who would like to know when that was, I discovered that they were released on December 7th, 2020.Anyway, I am impressed by Sakura's fineliner pens. I have tried a few other brands in the past and these are easily the best ones that I have tried. And so, I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is considering getting them. Just keep in mind that this is Sakura's newer 6 pack of assorted fineliner pens, that has sizes 01, 03, 05, 08, 10, & 12. And also that their older 6 pack of assorted fineliner pens is still available, that has sizes 005, 01, 02, 03, 05, & 08.
