Bosch Professional 18V System Cordless Angle Grinder GWS 18V-7 (115 mm disc diameter, protective guard, Aux. Handle, backing flange, locking nut, excluding batteries/charger)

I was looking for a lightweight cordless grinder in addition to my 230V grinder. Just to avoid permanently changing discs for cutting and deburring. Now I ended up swapping discs at the Bosch grinder because it's so handy. The most exciting thing about the grinder is the weight. It feels light as a newspaper. Grinding with one hand is a joy and it surprised me how much more precise cuts become if the grinder is lighter and well balanced. Quality so far feels good. Time will tell. Another pro is the switch. Perfectly placed and easy to switch on and off. At least for right handed people. Battery consumption feels the same as with my Bosch circular saw. After reading a couple of negative reviews in terms of battery consumption I expect to charge batteries more often. But this wasn't the case. Regarding power the grinder is not intended for heavy grinding. But I had no problems to cut 15mm steel plates or thick walled two inch pipes with 1mm discs. My only concern is now if I should sell my corded grinder?

Fantastic tool, easy to handle

Purchased when it was prime day, well worth being a member of Prime. Received the Bosch Professional Cordless Angle Grinder quickly and what a great product, doesn’t come with battery but I have the drill and screwdriver which has battery compatible with this. Works really well, wanted to chase cables in too the wall, didn’t think about how I was going to power the grinder when I purchased an electric cabled one, chasing cable means turning the electric off, this was a great solution A superb quality product, really pleased with price and purchase.

Angle grinder is light weight and powerful, easy to use and allows for accurate cuts. Small negatives: Handle attachment feels cheap and doesn’t match the quality of the grinder. The on/off switch also feels a bit cheap like it may give up with time and isn’t the most comfortable to hold down. Fortunately you can lock the on/off switch on so the angle grinder is permanently running! The guard is easy to move to whatever angle suits your need. Overall: happy with the quality of the grinder, a good weight and functions well.

I should have bought one of these ages ago, it's quickly become my "old faithful" and my corded versions are sat on the shelf gathering dust, wood shavings and metal particles ! I bought this as a treat to myself having relied on the cordless versions for so many years. Very impressed with the power of this thing, hard pushed really to tell the difference with the corded version it's now replaced. The guard adjustment is a bonus (my corded version needs a screwdriver to adjust it). I've used it for everything I used to use the corded one for, metal cutting, metal grinding, flapper disks for cleaning metal and for shaping wood. It's done everything I've asked of it and doesn't seem to eat batteries like I thought it would.

Bosch never disappoints. Its quality is superb and an excellent price.

Se cercate una smerigliatrice a batteria che non vi faccia rimpiangere quelle a filo, questa Bosch è il top! La uso da un po’ e devo dire che mi ha sorpreso: è leggera, ben bilanciata e ha una potenza più che sufficiente per lavori di taglio e smerigliatura. Il disco da 125 mm è perfetto per la maggior parte delle esigenze (monta ovviamente anche i più piccoloi da 115mm), e la comodità di non avere cavi in mezzo ai piedi è impagabile, soprattutto quando si lavora in posti scomodi. Ovviamente, per lavori molto pesanti serve una buona batteria (io uso una 5Ah e dura parecchio). Bosch Professional è sempre una garanzia, e questa smerigliatrice conferma la qualità del marchio. Se vi serve un attrezzo affidabile e pratico, ve la consiglio senza dubbio! I soldi in più spesi rispetto a marche meno famose son davvero ben spesi!

Suffit pour de l'occasionnel, pour débuter, car elle est légère et fine, convient pour petites mains. Équivalent 700w, pas sûr... Si vous travaillez l'acier risque d'être un peu faible. Tournez sur 2 batteries 4aH MINIMUM, car consomme beaucoup. Je l'ai gardée 3 ans sans aucun souci. Passage au filaire 1900w, le jour et la nuit ! Mais pas le même tarif... Les disques x-lock sont compatibles si jamais vous n'avez que ça. Trouvez-vous un écrou de serrage rapide (easyfix Ryobi M14 par exemple), achetée dès le début, la clé de serrage ne m'a jamais servie !
