I wanted to start using my old, everyday Sheaffer fountain pen but didn't want to have to fork out for new cartridges or a converter. I took a punt on these syringes (under £4) in the hope that they'd work as well as the hype. I had one empty cartridge left in the pen and in less than 2 minutes I had filled it with my preferred ink - no mess, no fuss, no leaks. I'm very pleased :)As someone who often leaves my pen idle for several minutes and finds it frustrating to pick it up to use only to find the ink has dried and I need to encourage the ink to flow again, it's great to be able to use my preferred ink that continues to flow easily after a period of no use (several minutes with the top off, or several days with the top on). Four quid well spent.

Some of the pens I have a rather big and have No 8 or 9 nibs so, with some of the ink bottles I have, they won't fit in order to fill them so, these really do come in handy. They make filling up cartridges and cartridge converters a doddle. Also great for pumping water to clean the converters and cartridges out.

Seem fine, no issue so far, time will tell.

Quality is good enough, just make sure to check the cap on the spring it can screw itself off on occasion. But other than that very cool and great price
