I was looking for a solid speaker which was easy to transport to sports outings for my children. This speaker has worked great and the kids fight over who gets it now. Despite it's small size it puts out quite an immersive sound. With the volume up there has been zero distortion and it is not too shabby in the bass department as well. It has a really long battery life, and has gone weeks at a time before I need to recharge it. I've only had it a few months, so long term battery life still remains to be seen but I have had Musibaby speakers in the past and their batteries still hold a nice long charge even years later. Bluetooth pairing was a breeze. The one feature I was intrigued by and made me most interested in this device was the TF / Micro-SD card slot. Sometimes we're camping or at a location with poor cell signal. This slot allows us to bring a card filled with music to avoid having to stream off Pandora, or Spotify. Works great and TF cards are super cheap. It's waterproof so again, great for camping, the beach, pool, etc. Overall, I definitely recommend this speaker if it matches what you're looking for. It's also extremely well priced and would make a solid gift. Pairing two of them even gets more volume (bang) for your bucks.

When it comes to wireless speakers there seems to be an endless stream of them flooding the market, ranging from premium quality all the way down to the not so premium ones. I’m not necessarily an audiophile but I do prefer quality sound systems over the mediocre ones, but the issue with the “premium” (brand named) quality one’s is that they have a ridiculous mark up on them, and more often than not you’re paying the premium price for the name on the speaker rather than justifying the price to the capabilities of the device. That being said I thought I’d give the Musibaby M88 Speaker a shot, the price was reasonable and they offer free returns so I figured what’d I have to lose but some time at a UPS or whatnot. So upon receiving the Musibaby M88 Speaker I noticed it had a nice sleek design very reminiscent to the JBL Flip speakers. In my opinion they’re a little lighter than the JBL’s but I digress. Comparatively the Musibaby’s are just about as loud as the JBL’s but the deep bass isn’t as deep, but the sound quality is in no way sub par, this little thing can fill up a decent sized room with sound no problem. As for the battery life I’d say it’s pretty solid, I’ve only had to recharge it a hand full of times since I’ve gotten it and I use it practically every day so I’d say it does well in that category. As for the water resistance capabilities go I can’t speak upon that since I’ve never submerged if in water, but I have had water spill on it with no issues thus far. So to wrap it up, if you’re in the market for a bluetooth speaker and don’t want to pay a “premium price” but want a quality product with a reasonable return policy, avoid the endless search and grab yourself a Musibaby M88 speaker and fill your life with sound.

This portable speaker is awesome! It's extremely lightweight and convenient, without sacrificing on quality, sturdiness and sound. It's simple to pair with any device, it works as a radio, and has phone and mic capabilities. It also has a USB slot, audio cable plug, and an attachable lanyard. The sound can get VERY loud, and it has good bass. It's not canny at all. It's a major improvement over my crappy Fire tablet speakers after my other bluetooth speaker recently broke on me. This one is also better than THAT speaker. So I'm pretty satisfied. It's not the best speaker I've ever used but it's pretty damn good, especially for its compact size. I love that I can toss it in my bag and go. It's built to stand up to a little abuse here and there. I would definitely recommend it to those looking for quality, portability and versatility. A piece of advice: Make sure to turn this off and charge it at night if you use it a lot during the day. It scared me half to death in the middle of the night when I woke up to a booming woman's voice telling me it was running out of battery over and over. Just turn it off after you're done using it or you're in for the same fate. Enjoy!🙂

A good sounding speaker with decent battery life. 3-stars due to the loudness when turning speaker on. No need to be that loud. Maybe MusiBaby can release some update to change this. Other than that.......the speaker is good.

This is the second unit from the manufacturer I've had - I was very pleased with the first (a slightly smaller unit, in black and orange) and it recently stopped holding a charge after 5(?) years. So I wasn't apprehensive about ordering a newer version. I use it on my job site, and like the first one, it pairs easily with my phone, has both a great bass and treble for such a little guy, with a nice clear sound. It has the capability to use a micro SD card - but I've never used it now or before. And the controls are very simple and function pretty quickly. While I haven't put it through a whole days use, so far the battery runs the unit for a good 6 hours...not too bad considering the small size. In another 5(?) years, should the battery finally give out, I'll probably look for this manufacturer again since I found it to be a good value for the price.

This product is a waste of money. Barely used it, possibly 10- 15 times and all of a sudden the power button became depressed into the unit and would not turn on, no matter how many times you pushed it. I finally pulled the button out with a vey small screwdriver and thought I would be able to activate the unit, but to no avail. I definitely would not recommend this product to anyone. I am very disappointed.
