Godox MS300 Flash

I’ve never been let down by Godox products!I started by buying a couple speed lights, then a wireless trigger… they worked perfectly, so I thought I’d try some other products.I bought this strobe with an long rectangle soft box for some rim light shots. After the first shoot, I came back to purchase a second strobe and an octagon soft box.I’m now a big Godox fan.

This was a truly valid purchase. Wanted to upgrade my gear. And being more of a field an natural light photog was alwsys skeptical an leery of studio equipment. But this has worked wonders and added to my flexibility and range. Its easy to use, very portable and is sturdy as heck. Valid purchase and considering getting another.

Fantastic strobe. Much cheaper than a wireless unit and was seamless to integrate with my GODOX speed lights and control unit.

Just what i needed at a great price

From the moment I turned it on within 3 mins of it being on it began to smell like smoke and burning. It overheated so quickly that I couldn’t use it for more than 5 mins at a time before having to turn it off. Waste of money. Only had it 2 months before it completely went out and no longer comes back on.The seller contacted me asking if I’d like a replace or return. When I said replacement they said they’d repair the original one. Which now makes me question if the one I received is a refurbished unit. I have since responded that I’d like a refund instead and have her to hear anything from them.
