KontrolFreek FPS Freek Inferno Performance Thumbsticks

I recently added the FPS Freek Inferno to my PS4 controller, and it’s a total game-changer! The thumbsticks provide incredible height and precision, making aiming in shooters much smoother and more accurate. The textured surface feels amazing and gives a solid grip, even during long gaming sessions. I immediately noticed better control in fast-paced games, and it really helped me improve my reaction time. Installation is super easy, and they stay firmly in place – no slipping at all. Plus, the Inferno design looks awesome on the controller. Definitely worth it for any serious gamer looking to gain that extra edge!

I had heard of this product a few years ago but never bought any because I thought it was probably just a cheap plastic gimmick. I was wrong. If you play shooter games, you NEED this. Fortnite, COD, APEX, etc. I'm an older casual gamer who really only plays Fortnite on the weekends but these DO work very well. I'm not really a top-notch player but I do well in my matches. Some people say that these take some time getting used to. Not for me. The very first time using these I noticed a BIG difference in my aim and accuracy. I bought a 2-pack of the high-rise Infernos and put one on each of my two PS5 controller's right thumb-sticks. What you put on your left thumb-stick (if anything) is up to you. My left's just have a standard rubbery non-raised cap for extra traction. A few reviewers said that they fall off all of time but I've had NO issue with that at all. They stay secured as long as you install them correctly. If you want to improve your aim and accuracy, BUY THESE. They're worth it!!!

Why the 4-star review instead of 5: After removing and placing a Kontrol Freek on my right stick for Rainbow Six Siege and then transferring it to my left stick for MLB: The Show, I realized there was damage to my thumbsticks. My solution is to simply have one controller for use of Kontrol Freeks on a left stick and one controller for use of Kontrol Freeks on a right stick. An even better option is to invest in the Dual Sense Edge or a professional controller equivalent to remove the thumbsticks with the Kontrol Freeks on them and place them where they're wanted/needed. A 5-star Kontrol Freek, in my opinion, is one that can wrap around your thumbstick and be secure without damaging the thumbstick after removal and placement. The people who have shown complaints about this product ruining their thumbsticks remove and replace them too regularly. If you're playing a competitive game and invest in Kontrol Freeks, I would also invest in the ability to replace your sticks with the Dual Sense Edge or another equivalent capable of doing so. If not, then I recommend to LEAVE THE KONTROL FREEKS ON FOR THAT SPECIFIC DEFAULT CONTROLLER. I wrote a similar review for my Galaxy Kontrol Freeks. I believe they're both on par in terms of performance and grip on your thumb. However, the Inferno has 4 clasps or ridges (the pieces that grab the thumbstick on its sides) that are very firm and unforgiving when removing and placing.

Let's just start by saying these work and work well at that. I bought these specifically for MLB The Show 21 for some precision stick skills or help with that aspect anyway. It gives my big fingers the extension in height I needed perfectly. Regardless of what other reviews say these don't pop off even during intense gaming sessions. I'm not sure what those peoples problems are. The fit is snug and perfect even for my PS5 controller. My big hands were still swallowing the bigger controller of the Playstation 5 ever so slightly. The "Inferno" set works perfectly for me even on FPS shooters. If you cane here wanting to know if these were worth it? 2 word answer, "They Are" . No hesitation needed, if stick precision and master control is what's needed just order them up. Again they also work on Playstation 5 controllers as well.

I bought these thumbsticks a year ago and mainly play COD: Warzone with them. I use one of the sticks on my right joystick for help with aiming, I gave the other one to a friend to try out. These sticks were a little awkward to get used to at first and during the first couple days alternated between with it on and with it off, but ultimately figured they could help in the long run so I stuck with them and a few days after repeated use it felt natural. In general it helps with the fluidity and precision with aiming down sights. I have to take it off my controller to play other non-fps games but the sticks pop on and off easily enough and surprisingly stays on my joystick extremely well during combat. I have had the stick pop off my joystick twice in the first month but never again in the full year I've used these. I just ordered another pair of these since after a year of repeated use almost every single day the grip is just now getting to the point of slipping off my thumb since I've worn the grip pattern down. It's still usable for casual play but sometimes in sweatier gunfights I feel slightly off from some minor slippage. Since I was ordering my second pair I figured I'd write a review and say that I highly recommend these KontrolFreek thumbsticks.

Erm, helps me substantially when trolling online, great quality grip. Fit perfectly on my $200 controller. Very durable(I have over 1000 hours on them) they look great and pop off easy.

Looked like the box had already been opened. Like it was repackaged. So far the controller works great just alittle suspicious that it was a refurbished controller and not a new one
