I have been experiencing sores around my coccyx on my rowing machine and realised that the seat foam ha split horizontally (it was a second-hand machine). I'd tried just sitting back on it but because it was broken I was experiencing the same issue.I bought this seat and straight away it has made such a difference. At first I felt as if I was falling off the back but after two 30-min workouts I imagine the seat has settled a bit, plus I have realised that I don't now have to balance right on the edge.So I definitely recommend it!I didn't need the gloves but thought I'd try them out. As others have said, the size of the holes are really small, especially on the forefinger. I assume it's so they aren't 'right' and 'left' but it means that they are only really big enough for the little finger. After the first five minutes, my forefingers had gone grey because the circulation had been stopped! I thought it might help with sweaty palms but I've decided against using them.

The seat fits the Concept perfectly, definatly takes the pressure off your back and makes rowing comfortable when doing long distance. Goes back into shape everytime.However the gloves are a total waste of time. I'm female with small hands however I could not get them over my finger and if forced it would cut my blood supply off. Cheap and tacky.

I have only used it once. It’s quite thick so I felt much higher, but I think it’s going to compact with use.It’s stayed in place impressively well.

Bought for my Concept 2 rowing machine as I suffer lower back pain and sometimes coccyx pain. This works great, I don't have any back pain when I row and I'm able to row more intensely and for longer in comfort. The pad sits well on the seat and doesn't slide a out. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who wants more comfort and for anyone who wants to relieve or prevent pain.

First try, fell off seat after a few pulls. Second try the same. Not firm and fitted to ass. Doesn’t work. Good delivery but not fit for purpose as a rowing seat.
