You do not need anything fancy and this gets the job done for the best bang for your buck. The quality is excellent and perfectly fits balls inside. Again, don't spend more money on some fancy ball marking tool. This is all you will ever need and it really has helped me when I am playing.

Use a fine point Sharpie for best results
Marks golf balls as advertised. Plastic is heavy duty enough. The clamp holds the ball okay. If you use all the notches the ball is going to look quite busy. Use a fine point Sharpie for best results. The big Sharpie point won't fir inside the channels.

Nice gift for a golfer
Alignment of putts is SO important when you’re playing golf and you’ve made it to the green. I got this for my brother as a gift. He’s a good golfer and he states that the pic eve is solidly built and he really likes that the jaws encapsulate the ball which allows him to make alignment marks all the way around the ball accurately. It’s a nice tool to have in your bag or to give to a golfer as a gift.
