DEWALT Extreme Flat Wood Drill Bit 9 Piece Set, Impact Rated, DT70751-QZ

I needed a precision set of decent spade bits to install some door locks. Dewalt has never let me down and this set does not disappoint. A useful storage case, stackable with other similar boxes, provides a home to return the bits to so I hopefully wont leave them on sites. Excellent performance, sharp and controllable. A+++

As always with DeWalt accessories the quality is next level, the case obviously is very strong as to expect with the connect series. The drill bits them selves are very well made and finished and with the black effect means they will last without rushing as longs as you look after them with cleaning and proper maintenance. There's a good selection of sizes to fit most DIY and job site needs. Now, speed and drill accuracy will depends on the drill you are using also I only use Einhell 18v range and with these bits the speed and the quality of the holes drilled are clean with no tearing or blowouts. For DIY or trade I definitely recommend this tool as a go too. Bonus points: there hex attached so no slipping in your drill.

Very sharp, very clean cut and seems to stay sharp even after many holes in laminated worktops or solid oak. Very impressed!

I have bought several dewalt speed bits. Being a joiner I needed something that was going to last. Although one bit came out of the box a little bent it has not affected my use as it is the least used bit out of the set. The bits drill quick leave a good finish with very little to no break out on solid oak doors ect. Would 100% recommend these to any tradesmen or even keen diy’er looking for some speed bits

As with most DeWalt products, these are very well made of high quality material. An invaluable addition to my tool box.

Solid cutting tools with a good range of spades Sturdy case with secure clasps for the lid Thought the spade retainer clips above each set of spades were somewhat of an overkill until i realised they are needed to lift the spades up to extract being the ends are (obviously) sharp as. The flaw is that the spades do not have wing tips which can result in a not so clean hole being cut say in a plastic junction box. Angling the cut does help to keep the spade central however this omission in design does warrant a star being dropped.
