I'd been looking for a smart lock for some time, but don't trust them enough to lose the key. I always liked the conexis, but wanted a key. I did get an ultion, which uses a built in Dana lock, but it is an all in one and didn't fit my lever and lock fitting. Eventually tried this with the yale modular cylinder (as, again, my lock was a mm too short!) Installing the new cylinder was child's play and, after watching a fitting video on YouTube for the linus, adding this on was easy too. Setup was literally a couple of clicks in the app, wait a little for it to test connections, and your done. I don't use the auto lock function as there are two adults in the house and I don't want it locking everytime someone closes the door; but the auto unlocking works great. I go out of the area (about 200m) and as I enter, the app goes into polling mode, waiting for me to get in bluetooth distance and then jocks the door! If the door is already unlocked (someone in the house already) then it recognises this and doesn't try to unlock again. If you enter the area, but don't get close to the house (we live close to a supermarket and I drop in there on the way home usually), then the app recognises this and asks if you want to suspend the Bluetooth polling for a period. I bought the WiFi module separate on another auction site for the half the price after I was happy with the initial setup, and the extra bits are great - checking lock status; opening for my adult kids who turn up any time; Google assistant voice integration, etc. Also enables you to lock from the comfort of the car instead of getting drenched locking with the key or waiting for the Bluetooth connection (which admittedly takes 2-3 secs) 😉

This lock works perfectly with my slam shut door. It’s really easy to fit and simple to calibrate to any any auto close lock

Simple to install with no need for holes/damage to the original door or handle. Goes on the inside of the door and is not too bulky nor is it particularly ugly. I did have to replace my lock cylinder as I had a thumbturn that wasn’t the right size, but I knew this before ordering and so bought the Linus adjustable lock cylinder which was easy to install. Works really well with my phone. However, I bought the Keypad 2 to go with it, and the keypad did not work well at all. Because the keypad was so poor, because it could not reliably unlock the door with either key code or fingerprint, I ended up having to uninstall this lock and replace it with a different brand. Whilst this lock works well, the only minor gripe I have with it is that it takes 1-2 seconds to lock/unlock. Not a big deal, but it does cause more pause than one might be used to. Overall I would only recommend this if you don’t want to use the keypad which is an optional accessory.

In principle it was quite easy to install and did work. Unfortunately it didn't work with offset door handles however if the unit hadn't begun to fall off despite the two screws and the sticky pad I probably would have stuck with the linus when I get new locks.

Very disappointing - no instructions in box - just tell you to load the app. Only instructions there are for the previous gen version - different mounting style etc. Wading thru the Yale website gives you odd videos for the Linus L2 but often merged with the previous Linus system which doesn’t help. Mounting process is poorly designed - you now have to use sticky foam to secure the unit - the previous gen locking ‘wings’ have been removed. If you need to remove/move this, then you’ll have to find double sided foam and cut to shape - not even a spare in the box. Feels like Yale aren’t trying here for what is an expensive unit. With a little bit of thought it could be much more securely mounted (for euro cylinder) vs. relying on the single screw holder the lock in the door and the sticky foam. First time trying a Yale unit for home automation - won’t be a repeated process Update - Jan 2026. Bought the additional door pull directly from Assa Abloy (Yale's UK owner). Made it much easier to pull the door open and less stress on the lock/sticky adhesive. Have tried to user the Matter capability with a latest gen Alexa Show and a Hubitat hub. Not great results. Got the device commissioned via the Alexa, but hit and miss on whether it see's it - sometimes Alexa can control it, but most times the lock is considered 'unresponsive'. Was unable to link to the Hubitat hub. Would start the linkage and then the Yale app throws an error message and the process stops. Have linked other Matter devices successfully to the hub - suspect this is a Yale/Assa issue vs. Amazon's or Hubitats. App only works on UK phones (iOS) - not a big deal for most folk, but something to be aware of if you spend a lot of time out of the country and have your phone locale set to anything other than the UK

This fits onto the inside of the door and leaves a keyhole outside which is great for emergencies. I’ve been using it for a while with Apple HomeKit and it is so convenient not to have to look for my keys when I get home. My phone automatically unlocks the door when I get close. Easy to install and use either through the Yale app or the Apple home app.

Ben hem silindir hem de wifi köprü ile birlikte aldım. Home assistant entegrasyonu ve homekit entegrasyonlarınıda yaptım. Ürün august cihazın bir kopyası sadece tasarımı farklı. August da biliyorsunuz türkiye'de satılmıyor. Garantili ve teknik desteği olan bir cihaz almak akıllıca. Yurtdışından getirttiğiniz bir üründe garanti yok. Bir problem olsa ya da sistem eve uymasa iade dahi edemeyebilirsiniz. Bu sebeple linus f/p açısından dahi türkiye için en iyi çözüm. Silindiri kurduktan sonra kurulumu basit. Kalibrasyonu iyi yapmanız gerekiyor. Kilitle, Kilit aç, aç. aksiyonlarını kullanabiliyorsunuz. Kilit aç dediğinizde hem kilidi açıyor hemde aç aksiyonundaki kapı açma yani son kalan yarım mandalı çevirmeyide yapması bence kötü bir özellik ama çok da büyük bir sorun değil. İlk kalibrasyonda evim 3 kademe kilitlendiği için kilidi ben de sonuna kadar yani 3 kademeli kurmuştum sonra yeni kalibrasyon yapıp kiliti tek kademe hale getirdim bunu yapınca çok daha kullanışlı oldu. Hiç bir yerde bundan bahsedilmemiş ama kalibrasyonu sonuna kadar kilitle yerine bir kademe kilitle şeklinde yapmanızı tavsiye ederim. Bu şekilde aç-kapa işlemleri daha efektif çalışıyor. Doorsense de iyi çalışıyor. Home assistant entegrasyonu kusursuz. Tek sıkıntı wifi bridge yok ise ev dışında kullanmanızın tek yolu homekit hub kullanmanız. Evde bir appletv, homepod mini vs varsa homekit üzerinden uzaktan da kullanabilirsiniz. Yoksa sadece cihaza yakınken homekit ve yale app çalışıyor. Wifi köprüyü kurduktan sonra app'i uzaktan da kontrol edebiliyorsunuz ama homekit yine sadece kapı yanından kontrol ediliyor. Ben çözümü home assistant kullandığım için yapabildim (ki bunun için native homekit desteğini kullanmayıp, home assistant üzerinden homekit'e aktarım yapmam gerekti) ama diğer türlü eve yakın değilken homekit üzerinden kontrol edemezsiniz wifi köprüsü olsa bile. bu wifi köprü yale app için tasarlanmış kısacası. otomatik kilitleme özelliği çok iyi. kapıya yaklaşında aç olayı apartman daireleri için pek akıl karı değil ama siz bilirsiniz. bluetooth mesafesi biraz kısa sayılır yani odanız uzaksa kilidi görmeyebilir. 10 şubat itibariyle tüm paket yani linus+silindir+köprü 4000tl civarına geldi bana. keypad şimdilik gerekli görmedim ama sonra alabilirim. dolara vurduğunuz zaman yine uygun aslında. ayrıca son olarak kalibrasyonu ilk 2 denememde hatalı yaptım ve direk teknik desteğe ulaştım. telefonla türkiye yale ekibinden bilgi aldım ve problemi çözüm. çözemeseydim eve teknik destek çağırabiliyorsunuz ya da iade edebilirsiniz. bunlar akıllı bir cihaz için inanılmaz kıymetli konular. yarı fiyata alacağınız çin menşeili ürünler de ne destek ne garanti ne iade şansınız olacak. kaliteside kötü olacak. o yüzden fazla değil 2 mislini verip kafanızı rahat ettirmenizi şiddetle öneririm. ben uzun süre bu ikilemde kalmıştım o yüzden düşüncelerimi net şekilde paylaşmak istedim. saygılar.

L'article n'est pas vraiment au point. J'avais acheté cette serrure pour la jumeler à l'alarme de la même marque car j'oubliais de l'activer. Pensant que la serrure allait activer l'alarme à mon départ, en fait elle ne fait que la désactiver a notre retour. La fermeture ne se fait pas non plus automatiquement mais par l'intermédiaire de la clé traditionnelle, de l'appli ou du DOT à condition que le téléphone soit déverrouillé. Le déverrouillage automatique ne fonctionnait plus juste avant de la renvoyer, il fallait la déverrouiller autrement. L'encombrement de la serrure est aussi un peu gênant car la course de la poignée se trouve à proximité de la serrure. L'alarme est bien mais cette serrure n'est pas vraiment automatique. Les seuls avantages c'est qu'il est possible de faire des programmes d'ouvertures ou fermetures et qu'elle désactive l'alarme quand elle se déverrouille. Sinon rien à dire sur le vendeur, j'ai même reçu l'article bien avant la date prévue 👍

Easy to install No need for door modifications. Only change the cylinder of the door. Good connection and functionality particularly with the automatic door opening and closing.

Es bastante fácil de instalar, aunque algo cara para lo que es( tenia antes una Sherlock S2 , que me costó 75 en su día y la he cambiado por esta, porque Sherlock dejo de tener soporte y ya no dejaba compartir llaves, por lo que se hacia inservible) con esta y el puente wifi ya ni siquiera hace falta compartir la llave puedes abrir a distancia. Esta es muchísimo más silenciosa incluso que la Sherlock que tenia y por lo general funciona correctamente salvo algún error puntual de no responder al desbloqueo, o el desbloqueo automático que he decidido quitar porque me detecta dos pisos más abajo de casa ( vivo en un edificio y se desbloquea cuando voy subiendo detecta el bluetooth) por lo que no me da tiempo a llegar abrir y me toca al final acabar sacando el móvil así que igual me da, y me da más confianza hacerlo yo mismo. Por lo demás de momento bastante bien, espero que tenga un buen soporte durante años por El precio que cuesta…
