Will it work ok if clamped to a shooting pad that 48” or is that too short?

Will it clamp to 1/2 inch thick synthetic ice?

can i use it withtout synthetic ice tiles

The Extreme Passer Clamp-On can be used on any hockey dryland flooring tiles, shooting pads or synthetic ice surface. But it needs some form of shooting pad or hockey flooring tiles.

Do you have to clamp this down or can it rest on top of concrete or synthetic ice?

You are supposed to clamp it down. We have done it both ways. When on synthetic ice we always clamp down.
