This review is for the first .5 nozzle as I have a replacement coming. First to all newcomers this is not just a drop in replacement as the iwata eclipse hp-cs comes with the n3 (.3) nozzle, needle and.cap. To use this nozzle you would also need to purchase a .5 needle and cap as all 3 parts would be needed just as the .3 cap, needle and nozzle are needed. Second, when I first swapped the nozzles out it took a lot of force to break the .3 nozzle lose, so much I wqs afraid I was going to damage it. This one sits in its place but it does not firmly fit and the slightest touch or wobble wpukd make it fall out, so I highly advice to replace over white paper towels or over a cookie sheet of some sort in case it falls or you drop it. It's very small and once it hits the floor you better hope you saw it. Lastly, after only 3 weeks of use the tip of the nozzle began to split and chip away more and more after each cleaning. It's hard to explain and ive already sent it back so I dont have a Pic but it was basically wearing away on one side of the tip and I only noticed bc the spray pattern began to change. I kept thinking it was getting clogged but it wasnt. Other than basic acrylic white, black and silver, I primarily shoot solvents through my iwata. At first the nozzle was amazing and had Great control. After a trigger modification I had even better control and more comfortability. The item did come new in an iwata package. If the next one repeats itself then I'll suspect it's counterfeit. So based on performance before the defect i gave it 4 stars. But remember you must also use .5 needle and .5 nozzle cap in order to use it.

Perfect for my iwwata airbrush

I too use this on my Iwata HP-CS with a 0.5mm needle and cap. most of my painting is 1/24 so i find this helps with consistency on larger areas, while controlling dry needle (especially with metallics). word of warning, when setting the needle, refrain from pushing to hard on the needle end while tightening the nut as you will just splay the nozzle! this is not a fault with this needle, but common for all airbrushes.
