Adds great flavor to a mushroom soup. Just reconstitute in warm water (use the water like stock)Sauté them in butter with cremini and white mushroom's. Add some onion till translucent then some garlic. Mix in a tablespoon of flour cook 5-7 minutes then add Some chicken stock a splash of wine and the reserved porcini water. Simmer on low heat for 40+ minutes if you like it creamy add whole milk or some cream. We made 4qts and finished it all the second day

Exactly what I wanted - a large bag of dried mushrooms which will last us a while! Impressed by the size of some of the specimens, which are hearty and not broken up until small pieces. Have ordered this bag before, and have not been disappointed, so looking forward to sampling the new batch!

I live in a rural area where “unusual” items can sometimes not be found. I love to cook and these mushrooms are perfect for my special mushroom sauce.

I use these on a regular basis for making mushroom farro and risotto and have been satisfied with the taste, packaging and quick delivery whenever I order them. Good product and good seller, remember to rinse them off first before adding the hot water to rehydrate them and then use the steeping liquid in the dish you're making, very flavorful!

These mushrooms were perfect. I made a bolognese sauce yesterday & added an ounce to my partially cooked chopped veggies with a few chopped anchovies. It adds an umami flavor & makes a richer sauce . I would definitely recommend these.
