Makes great baked goods
I think einkorn is my favorite wheat kernel. It has a great taste. I sent this to my daughter who bakes a lot. She didn't complain about it so it must be great!

Great product excellent seller.
Well packed, well shipped & so good for you! My Farmers' Market bakery offers the best of the best. I'm grinding the grains & making fabulous breads, as well as whole grain cakes, & other sweet treats. Healthy & tasty is what I now offer. It's only because f the partners I've found at Amazon that I can create such fabulous foods. Before I had the equipment I now have I out sold everyone; now it's phenomenal! Thx Amazon for making all this possible. I buy my coconut oil, my pecan oil, my walnut oil, my pistachio oil, my mill, boy everything I have is Amazon. The owner is brilliant & great towards his customers (not so much employees but that's why he's so good). I am very happy w/ all of my transactions except the GD store card which seems to universally treat amazons customers like crap. But they're good to their employees! I reported the lousy treatment to Amazon & got a big ho hum. Absolutely let down the customers w/ a we have no control! Baloney! U choose them! Oops that's how unhappy I am w/ that experience. I am very happy w/ this seller & will b back!

Couple of rocks in it, good taste
Found a couple of rocks in this, one I found by chomping on it. But they are dark so easy to spot, just make sure you look for them. Great taste.

Local American small business supplier offering a very limited production healthy grain.
When you discover that retail/ American grain is fiberless, wheat germ less, bleached, contains potassium bromate and is Glyphosate a problem? Then you may look for alternatives. I would recommend the original 5000 year old Einhorn Grain - Not Frankenstein grain to put in my body. Oh and did I mention it makes wonderful bread, tastes is very important. I started making my own bread when I discovered the above. My bread has four ingredients - Einhorn Grain, Water, Yeast, and Salt.. Can you spell the ingredients in your bread?

Not Quality
I was excited to find organic einkorn berries on Amazon since my usual source for this was out of stock. I have never used a different seller's organic einkorn before using this sellers' product!Unfortunately, I must have received something very sub par to their usual product. The berries themselves smelled dank and old - not at all like the fresh earthy smell I know to expect. When I ground them into flour, my kitchen did not have the pleasing aroma it usually does, but rather a dusty, dirty smell filled the air. The bread that came out of the oven was truly a disappointing divergence from our usual fresh-milled, fresh baked bread. I'm sad to say that this is a very expensive mistake on my part.

and making a wonderful sourdough loaf of bread
I have not been able to eat any products for gluten for over 20 years, but after reading about how to properly prepare grains, I set about making my own sourdough with the einkorn, and making a wonderful sourdough loaf of bread. I am thrilled with the results of just adding a little of the einkorn flour to other sourdough products, i.e. pizza crust, pancakes, rolls. I mix it with a variety of gluten free whole grain flours, and I am shocked how well I am doing. My husband is gluten intolerant, and not as sensitive as I am, and has no problem at all with me using the einkorn flour in our baked goods. Thank you for providing an alternative to the very altered wheat flours, which cause many of us major problems.

Misleading description
This is mostly my mistake. I made the mistake of thinking I ordered wheat berries (because it says wheat berries in parenthesis). But it does also says stone ground. But why even say wheat berries at all if it’s ground? I like grinding my wheat from berries so that I get the essential oils that are stripped from ground wheat sometimes (don’t know if this is the case here because it is pre-ground). But I think people who bake obviously know it started of as wheat berries so adding that to the description was the throw off. Also quite disappointed that I ordered a 5lb bag that when I weighed it, was only 3lbs. Not worth 40 bucks. Returning for the rip off and the deceptive description. Please reword the description. Nothing against this company other than actually cheating me out of 2 lbs (when I ordered 5).I gave two stars not based on the product (since I’m returning it unopened), but rather based on the above.
