Works as advertised! Spooled both my baitcaster and Spinner very quickly. Easy to setup, can work with braid, mono or fluorocarbon line. Lightweight but quality built. The bar can extend and retract. The metal bar is grooved so it will not rotate down due to the weight of the spooled line when turned rightside up to spool line onto your baitcaster. Also the rotating spool holder can be locked in place or set to spin freely for spooling your spinning reel. So far so good, I would recommend this buy.

This thing is a lifesaver! It worked flawlessly right out of the box. Easy to follow instructions. Before buying this I would have to do it myself or with another person holding the spool. I am happy to say those days are over lol.

Made spooling up a reel a lot easier and consistent with regard to line tension as the reel loads. Easy to set up and use. Have used it a few times to add line to reels and been pretty easy to do. Care must be taken when using it to remove line from a reel that is to be put on a reel later. The line can wrap around the outside of the take up reel/line holder if you are not careful and takes a little time to unravel.

I was very disappointed in this product. Seems like a solid concept but tightening the spool is not as easy as it could be, the line does not stay taught and wraps around the fasteners. It just doesn't work. Do not recommend. UPDATE: I have to give credit to the seller. After my review they reached out and issued a refund. Here's what I'll say then, while I was not impressed by the product, I am impressed by the retailer and I will definitely be willing to buy from them again. Kiddos on the customer service.
