Eco Friendly Exercise Yoga Mat

I bought this to replace a mat that I considered irreplaceable. Unfortunately, I needed to. It's thin enough to provide the right amount of cushion but isn't too springy. It also has the right amount of grip to it to ensure you can hold a pose without slipping all over the place. I also use it for floor workouts in our weight room.

I had no problems at all with it, but it's starting to show signs of tear after a month. Nothing serious, perhaps my expectations were set too high or I was too rough when cleaning it.

The mat is pretty slippery for me- my hands don't grip at all on the green side, which makes down dog a little precarious. I flipped over and use the black (dark grey?) side and that side does seem to have a better grip to it. I've washed it with mat cleaner, even gave it a shower and vinegar rinse, but no luck with reducing the slippery texture. As far as cushion goes- it is comfortable, and provides enough cushion that my knees don't hurt. Durability seems good so far. I've had it for about two weeks and so signs of wear at all. I think it will hold up well to regular use. Just wish it gripped better. The little string carry strap it came with broke after about 5 uses, so that's a bit disappointing as I really liked the simplicity of it.

So far so great. Grip is terrific. Doesn't smell. Enough softness.

My hands do slip when I perform down dog. Too bad. Otherwise, it's very nice--thick and well-made.

The mat is exactly as advertised. ProPace was great to work with.
