Man just what I needed for my new lights, I got the 1/8" 150lbs 2 set, adjustment is super easy and very strong so I have no doubt they will do the job! 😎 🤟Good quality product for a low price 👍totally worth it! They're super light weight but very strong, they work perfectly and gives me no problems when I have to higher or lower my lights. The internal parts are actually metal so they should last and hold up to some punishment and no slipping when released. When you stop pulling it locks and you're good to go, so far so good. 👌 I am very happy with them for what I use them for and would totally recommend em and would buy more if needed 👍

I misplaced the pulley that came with my red light panel. It's a heavy panel and this works fine and was cost effective.

These things are fantastic. I absolutely appreciate so much the design of these units. Once you get them set up and attached to whatever surface that they'll hang from, the rest is all convenience and ease. Seriously, the folks that have the patents on these were able to pay the mortgage for sure. I'll put up some photos in a little bit to display. Very cool, practical, and efficent product. Prospective buyers should really give these some consideration. The price is right and the convenience rendered is worth much greater amounts. I am pleased with my purchase and WOULD recommend them to any future owners/purchasers/seed-starting horticulturalists. To the question of whether they are actually necessary or just superfluous, I would suggest that these units improve your organization in starting your seeds: they are practical. These hangers provide for less clutter and really improve the appearance of the grow space, hygiene, and safety of the physical space for early February seed-starting growers. These will help a space look less busy and more streamlined, provides a person with the ability to really dial in their efforts, no static. Simply have the plants below and the fixtures above, the way it ought to be. Buy it!!

These are the exact same hangers that came with my LED grow lights. I bought these to help control my lights from rotating on their own. The light manufacturer only included one hanger kit so the cables from the four corners of the light connect to one hook on the hanger which allows them to rotate on their own. I have to keep them in place using string tied to a hook on the wall. Which is a pain when I want to lower or raise the lights. My intent is to add a second hanger on each light so there is one on each end which will prevent them from rotating. These hangers are real easy to raise and lower. The provided cord is plenty strong for my application and I suspect would be fine for any application that does not exceed the weight limit rating. They are very reasonably priced and I would not hesitate to purchase them again or recommend them to anyone who is using them for a similar purpose.

This is my first experience using yo-yo's for my lights so I have nothing else to compare it to, but these work great! Much easier than using small lengths of chain, risking dropping the entire hood when adjusting the height, etc. With these I do recommend tying a stopper knot at the very end of the piece of rope, and I did also change the knot that attached the carabiner to a more secure figure 8 knot. Also, just to prevent any accidental slippage (can be catastrophic depending on what you are using these for), after adjusting the height I always tie a knot right where the loose end of the rope leaves the ratchet. That way it can only slip an inch or so max before it would catch on the knot should anything go wrong. Adjustment with these is really easy, though you do need two hands to drop the light down (only 1 needed to pull the light higher). Definitely recommend these!

I use these for medium to light work such as holding up brake calipers, hanging flower ports, and synching tarps. The extra rope length was more than enough for all my needs. I cut down some to fit my exact needs but these are more than perfect for all I needed. The release lever isn’t to receded but definitely can’t be used with gloves.
