We used it for our home made pastrami and it really enhanced the taste of the meat! Just DONT eat this salt RAW and its must be washed off after basting! Good Stuff and the price was great

Needed for my cold smoked bacon and sausage. Well-packaged and not a huge amount. You'd need to be making sausage on a commercial scale to justify the pounds of product some other vendors are selling, considering what a tiny amount is needed for each batch. It's just good old Prague #1, nothing special, it does the job.

Excellent Prague powder. Made a massive batch of sausages. The Nitrates dissolve perfectly to reach the minimum 150ppm which keeps everything safe while it cures.

I ordered this product to use in brining a brisket along with other spices. It certainly did the job and it turned the meat, pink similar to a corn beef and that was a plus. However, the meat did come out salty, despite the fact that I followed the directions in the recipe. The next time I use the brining salt, and I will I will cut back on the salt used in the recipe. I was very happy with the product as a whole.

This is carrying salt for making your own corned beef. It's a good price and came quickly. My corned beef tastes just perfect!

This cure is exactly as stated. It works well, measures and pours easily (no clumping), lasts a long time and is the correct color so that it will not be confused with table salt. The bag is resealable, so it is easy to use.

Makes me nervous with the warning sticker on the back. Pretty package. Beautiful looking salt. Says do not taste. Wasn't completely sealed when I received it. My entire package was somewhat salty. Thanks Savory for making a beautiful product. I hope some one there would consider natural sources for the pink color such as beet powder. Sincerely the family.
