Optima Digital 1200 12V Performance Battery Charger and Maintainer - 150-33508

This battery charger is really nice. It aint cheap but it does a lot of things automatically. I use it for an Optima AGM battery I have had for 5 years now. The charger will condition the battery after it analyzes the state of the battery. My battery was going down to 11.9 volts after a couple of days. I did several conditioning/maintaining cycles and now the battery has around 12.3 volts consistently. Worth the investment in my opinion.

This is an excellent charger! Works great on my yellow top, my secondary standard battery, my mower, and soon I bet it'll see the Harley battery. I'm charging all of them with this now. Real simple to use. Connect the battery, plug it into the wall and push a button or two. It tells you the battery life after a 5 mins evaluation, then starts charging and tells you what amp and voltage it is at. I'm super impressed. I bought this to have a nice charger around, and the guys at Optima charged a battery for me at a car show years ago with this same charger. Gave it back to me in just over an hour and said I was good to go, and that battery got me through the rest of the show!

This is a very advanced and versatile charger. It's able to charge Lithium, AGM and Flooded batteries. Perhaps my favorite feature of this charger is the easy to read graphic display that shows you at a glance the state of charge on your battery and gives you an indication of how long it will take to charge a battery. It also has a boost / quick charge function to aide in faster charge times but it's not intended for engine starting. I have been using CTEK chargers for the longest time but I wanted this one for its ability to charge Litium batteries and its LCD display. I hope this charger stands the test of time because it's not inexpensive. Time will tell...

This charger is working well. I like the digital readout and options available like AGM, deep cycle, maintain, etc. You do have to “select” what you are trying to do but it’s a single button push in most cases. Being able to ask it the state of the battery is useful. I have a 40 year old charger that still works but bought this for a new location, I’m glad I did. I may get another and put my old one on the shelf as an emergency backup, that’s how much I like it.

I got one of these because my neighbor let me borrow his. One of my cars had the battery completely die on it. The battery was about 5 years old so it is what I would consider near the end of it's life AND i don't drive the car a lot. I pulled the battery out and put it on this charger. It took ~12 hours for it to fully charge and go to maintenance mode. The battery has worked like an absolute champ ever since. The cost of this is slightly prohibitive/steep. But compared to the $40 ones you find at the part store... it does a lot more and performs WAY better. So it certainly lives up to the price.

I ordered this charger because I have two Optima battery's in my army truck (M35 A2). This winter was a bad one and when I checked the truck last the battery's were dead. the voltage was down to 6-7 volts. This charger said that it can help deeply discharged battery's. The charger automatically goes through different charging steps so you just pick what kind of battery you are charging and it does the rest. The first battery came right back to life. The charger has a conditioning step to help out the battery. The second battery took three times to get it back to life, but the charger saved both battery's. Saved me from buying new battery's ($350). Totally worth the price! Stores all the cables nicely, and charges your cell phone too.

So it still fires up and charges the battery.

A must have for AGM batteries, great to maintain them on a custom car not used that often

Really great charger and maintainer. Very well built and lots of features. Has great onboard storage of cords and keeps them nice and neat. Cords are made of good grade rubber and do not crack under the coldest day. Display is easy to read and the charger is not complicated to understand. I recommend everyone gets one they are a life saver.

To keep my battery charged properly and give it longevity.

Works well ..the plastic construction makes it feel cheap but it does it’s job had it for a few years now and it’s holding up pretty well !

This is a great battery charger for all types of batteries. The LED light and battery test are great features.
