My husband has vascular dementia and has only recently needed incontinent pants as his condition worsens, unfortunately for me as his wife and carer I was not prepared enough, as it is all new to me.I am so glad I took the time to read all the different brands of waterproof items, I made my decision to buy the silent night waterproof mattress cover, no one can make an absolute silent cover without it being noisy, so I thought! I asked my husband bless him, he is 81yrs old with hearing like a bat! never heard a thing whilst in bed.Quality, Comfort, Fit, Easy to put on, Depth could have been a little longer but overall it suits my husband and our budget.

Yes this seems fine. When taking it out of the packaging you can tell it is waterproof by the feel, though the top is soft. Not very thick, but then does it need to be? My mattress is 26cm deep but I find 30cm covers fit way better. This protector fits really well. I have not tested out the waterproof of it yet. It seems well made and of good quality. If anything changes I will edit this review and repost.

Good points- Waterproof- Quiet- ComfortableBad points- DOES NOT HAVE AN ABSORBENT SURFACE- Washing hit-n-miss, need to ensure top surface folded outwards, but sometimes turns in the machine and doesn't clean properly (not a fault of this specifically, all waterproof covers have the same issue)DD had a big wet, nothing got through, but some ran off the side and ended up with a mess on the floor. Need to use a sheet or other covering to absorb accidents.

The size is just right for our mattress. Once fitted it's nice and flat so you can't tell it's there. It doesn't seem to affect sleep quality.So far we haven't have to test how waterproof it is but I'm hoping that it helps keep the mattress clean.
