Another Winner
I have long admired Tracy Chapman for her heart-felt songs that speak about everyday experiences. She is so genuine, doesn't think of herself as a celebrity, and when she performs, she's always in casual attire. Tracy Chapman's CDs are soul searching and beautifully executed
I love everything Tracy Chapman does and this CD is another example of her astounding talent and songwriting. She is always over the top in her heartfelt lyrics and musicianship.

Beautiful Album!
A great album! While critics were hailing her previous album "Telling Stories" as her most mature work (they would be right if "mature" meant sedated and monotonous), I would say that this one takes her sound or voice to a higher level and therefore earns the title as her most mature work. I hope her next album, which should be out soon, sounds as good if not better than this.

Excellent and Terrific Tracy Music!
Beautiful, excellent and Terrific Tracy music. She has great lyrics, and sound melodies. I would highly recommend it! Tracy is at her best!

This collection is the oldest I have from Tracy Chapman and now it is my favorite. You must listen to appreciate. Go ahead, you'll see. Shelia

This album has some very touching and beautifully worded songs, if not dark and moody! Her voice fits the songs perfectly and some of the songs do stay with you for a long time. "In the dark" is a very haunting song I find but again suits the mood of this album. The music is also very dark, and you can imagine the state of tracys mind when she wrote these songs. To me this is what tracy is good at, writing beautiful, dark and brooding songs, about love, life pain and hurt, with an honesty in her voice which you cant find these days
