Amazon Basics Round Shape Stainless Steel Dutch Oven with Lid, 5-Quart

I was really pleased with this 'pot' - it's larger than I thought. I think that Amazon Essentials sells very well made products and this is certainly one of them! It's great for soups and stews - it's very solid and the base is heavy which is important. Just an overall great product! By the way I use it also for something you wouldn't think of? I found a tip for thawing things like fish and chicken and so on. I put them in this pot in it's original package and fill it over the top with cold water. You can leave it there for a few hours (they say to change out the water every 30 minutes but I don't do this). It's great if you have forgotten to take out your food the night before and it works like a charm. It works every time. This pot does it all!

I’ve been looking around for a while for a Dutch oven. They are either too expensive or too light weight. This one is absolutely perfect! It’s a big bright shiny pot with a clear lid and it’s very sturdy. The price couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend.

This pot is perfect for sauce & meatballs. soup etc.. I've used it 7 or 8 times & it still looks brand new! I handwash it just in case the dishwasher ruins it. I can't believe how low the price was. It is definitely worth it!

I love this. The only reason for 4 stars overall is the handles get very hot. Other than that, I love it and I would buy it again.

Exactly what I had hoped for! If you know how to cook with stainless steel and prefer it over alternatives, get it. It is as shiny looking as the multi-ply stainless pan, but doesn't scratch like they do. Put it on the right-sized burner and the extra thick aluminum bottom will distribute the heat evenly -- no need to crank up the heat. Relatively light weight when compared to the heavy duty/all-clad stock pots that I currently use for making stews, soups, corned beef, casseroles etc. It is so hard to find any pans with a lid, let alone with a glass lid, without having to buy an entire set of pans. LOVE finding this one! Easy, easy clean-up if you know how to cook with stainless steel. In fact, it came out of the dishwasher as shiny as if it was brand new.

Love this Dutch oven.perfect size for our use as husband has been cooking from scratch like a wild man since COVID began. Old Dutch oven was flaking off non stick coating so was concerned about it getting into the food. As a new pan, this stainless is so highly polished it cooks like non stick. I like it’s durable feel and weight of the pan and substantial handles which don’t seem to get hot. Comes with lid that contains a steam escape hole. Would recommend.

I am particular about having things match. I desperately need a six-quart stockpot, and all my cookware is Cuisinart. However, it has been sold out or over-priced for a while So, when Amazon suggested their own brand, my need too over my desire. I am so happy that happened. The quality of this pot is very well. Nice heavy bottom, so it heats evenly and holds heat well. The handles are nice and wide. On the glass lid is a tiny hole to let steam out; my popcorn loves that. I would definitely recommend it.

This is the perfect pot! Well made, and just the right size. A pot roast and vegetables fit perfectly! Easy to clean, and very attractive. I have several others that just aren’t quite big enough. Love this one, and use it all the time.

Risultato: - casseruola: ebollizione in 5' - padella: ebollizione in 5' 22'' Un buon risparmio di secondi a vantaggio della casseruola, evidentemente la casseruola disperde meno il calore e lo trasmette più rapidamente. Really liked the quality of this pan. Has so far cleaned really well and been pretty robust. Has a nice finish which means that food isn't sticking. Pan itself is very heavy however it hasn't been a problem. Excellent large size for making my soups. Always impressed with this cooking range. Would recommend.

Ce faitout ressemble à beaucoup de faitout. Son style est courant et soigné. Il est du plus bel effet sur une plaque à induction. Le couvercle s'adapte bien. L'induction fonctionne parfaitement. C'est la taille de faitout que j'utilise le plus souvent

Esta olla la he comprado exclusivamente para hacer sopas ligeras, del estilo de las sopas de sobre (sopa de fideos, maravilla, ...) pero caseras, nada de sobre. A mí me gusta bastante cocinar y, aunque tengo dos ollas más como estas, pero de distinto tamaño, las uso para cosas distintas y he preferido comprar una tercera olla. Cabe decir que nosotros somos de comer poca carne y más de comer sopas y cosas más ligeras, por lo que es fácil que el 2 o 3 fogones de mi cocina tengan una olla encima preparando algo. La olla en sí es de muy buena calidad. Es bonita visualmente y resistente. Distribuye muy bien el calor y funciona tanto en cocinas convencionales como en vitrocerámicas, por lo que a mí me viene muy bien, ya que uso de los dos tipos. Las asas, aunque están remachadas, son muy fuertes y aunque tengas algo hirviendo, pasa poco calor a las asas. Además, lleva la olla lleva a juego una tapa que me va perfecta para mantener la sopa caliente cuando se retrasa mi hijo después de los partidos de futbol. Tiene un pequeño escape para que el vapor salga y no baile la tapa. Lo cierto es que esta tapa, al ser de vidrio me viene super bien. Es sumamente práctica. Tambiñen he visto que a la olla cuesta que se peguen los alimentos mientras se cocina. Yo, cuando hago alguna sopa en la que tiene algo que hay que sofreir, lo hago en la olla directamente, antes de poner el agua, y nunca se me ha pegado nada. Y normalmente, con otras ollas, si que se me pega alguna cosa, ya que me pongo a preparar el resto de alimentos y hay veces que me descuido. Resumiendo... Una excelente olla de acero inoxidable de casi 5 litros que me ha gustado mucho. Sin duda alguna, la recomiendo.
