It's criminal of my dermatologist not to have recommended this product. I have tried every prescription, home remedy and extreme measure to help manage my KP. I have been struggling with this condition for decades. In the last couple of months, my arms look like I've been doing meth - bumps, sores and scabs from constantly picking at my KP. I used to have beautiful, silky smooth skin - but for some reason my KP flared up to the worse it has ever been.The last product that worked semi-well was the Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy, but it no longer works on my skin. I used Proactiv Purifying Mask on my upper and lower arms and slept with the mask on overnight. It helped reduce the inflammation sort of, and it definitely prevented me from scratching and picking. But really, walking around with a mask on your arms is no way to live. You might as well wear long sleeve shirts for life.I read a user review, which was well articulate and convincing, so I gave KP Elements Keratosis Pilaris Body Scrub a try. Within 1 week, I saw a noticeable, drastic difference. So much so, I ordered another bottle of the scrub and matching skin cream. I'm on my 2nd week. I haven't had a KP flare up, nor have new KP bumps appeared on my skin. Finally, my skin is smooth. I've been using it on my upper and lower arms, my thighs, my legs and small spots on my face - basically everywhere that KP plagues my body. I can whole-hardheartedly say, it works. I am so grateful to find this product. I just wish it was years ago, but at least I have it now.I look at it this way. I've tried everything else, I might as well try this. For the record, I'm glad I did. My confidence is back, and I'm showing off my arms once again. I'm not picking at my KP because there's nothing to pick out. My skin tone is even and not red or splotchy. I believe with continued use that my KP will stay away and my scaring will fade. This is an exceptional product, and I have experienced remarkable results. ***I usually don't post reviews on here because I just order generic stuff; but I hope that in giving this review, it'll help someone else like the reviews helped persuade me to try this out***I stumbled across this fancy product when I was on the search for something to help clear up my KP. Prior to finding this I had been using Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy Skin lotion as well as Cera Ve Renewing Skin Cream. I've had SEVERE KP for, I'd say, most of my life -- as long as I can remember anyways -- and had given up any hopes that I'd ever find anything, or be able to afford products, that would help me in any way. Growing up with KP was not exactly a fun experience and was a serious confidence inhibitor. My KP covers the tops of my legs, razor bumps look 10x worse on my calves, the tops of my arms are covered in it, my face, and probably my back/butt...it's a monstrous mess.Now, when I purchased this product to incorporate into my current regime, I didn't exactly have HIGH hopes...but I thought, "why not?". Now I'm asking why I haven't tried this sooner! I used it for the first time on Friday, June 2nd when it was delivered to my door and honestly, I noticed an immediate difference in the KP on my body. The bumps were noticeably smoother and the redness had diminished. I swear, I am NOT paid to give this review, I just feel very strongly about it - AND I'm SO thankful that there MAY be a light at the end of the tunnel... I've been using it for just under a week and have seen a DEFINITE difference in how my skin looks and feels.I was especially surprised at how good the stuff smelled...it didn't smell like it was medication. One reviewer wrote how a little bit goes a long way, and it's true. I only use about a dime sized amount for each limb (legs, arms, face/neck, etc.). I did notice that it does kind of leave your skin with a dried out feeling, but NOT, I repeat NOT in a bad way... you just may want to use an exfoliating lotion that's thicker and medicated.Overall, I’m extremely pleased so far with this and look forward to continually using it and seeing how my skin reacts to prolonged usage. I am so excited and hopeful that maybe one day I will be able to be KP free. I'll try to remember to post again after 30 days to give an update :)
