Bestway Steel Pro MAX 10' x 30" Above Ground Pool, Round Metal Frame Outdoor Swimming Pool Set with Filter Pump & Type I Cartridge, Gray

I’ve been into pools since 1999, so I know a thing or two—and I have to say, this Bestway Steel Pro MAX 12' x 30" Above Ground Pool is a solid 10/10. The setup was super easy. With two people, it took about 45 minutes from start to finish, and everything went together smoothly with clear instructions. The size is perfect for families or just cooling off on hot days, and the frame feels sturdy and well-made. The depth is just right at around 26.5 inches of water—great for kids and adults alike. Now, the one thing to note: the pump that comes with it isn’t strong enough. If you're just dipping your toes into pool ownership, it might do for the short term, but I definitely recommend upgrading to a more powerful pump for better water circulation and filtration. As someone who’s been around pools for decades, I can confidently say a stronger pump will make a world of difference in keeping the water clean and clear. Overall, awesome pool for the price, easy setup, and a summer must-have—just plan to invest in a better pump!

This was nice pool, had to send back due to a small problem. Great for the buck, just enough room for kiddos to play in. Pump was good came with everything as should.

This pool is the best purchase I've made this summer! We've only had it for a few days, so I will update on longevity over time, but so far...it's stood up to some intense kids playing, and it's been a godsend for me given that it's hitting 100 degrees out & our A/C decided to die. Now! Onto what you need to purchase alongside this pool to make it amazing. First, the pump that comes with this pool is inadequate. I very quickly purchased the "Bestway Flowclear 1,000 Gallons Per Hour 120 Volt Above Ground Swimming Pool Water Filter Pump Cartridge with Automatic Shut Off Timer" pump to replace the one that comes with this pool. This larger pump fits the same exact hoses at the pump that comes with this pool, so switching the pump was very simple. It's a much better pump, and I got lucky and got it for a very good deal! Second, you're going to want a pad for under the pool. I got a 12-foot round pool liner pad so that it would be larger than the pool, and I think that was a good choice. Third, you'll obviously want a skimmer net, but I also bought a Sepetrel 2023 Upgraded Swimming Pool Spa Jet Vacuum Cleaner with Brush & 56" Pole. This is basically a manual pool vacuum that hooks up to your garden hose. I like it because I basically end up topping off the pool water while vacuuming the pool. Fourth, chlorine. I've ordered 1 inch tablets to go in a floater, but I started with granules because tablets were just not in stock. I actually quite like the granules - not sure if I'll stick w/ tablets or granules or both. It's probably good to have both in case the tablets just aren't enough for heavy-use days. Last but not least, you'll want some pool tester strips. I'm using the JNW 7-Way Pool Test Strips, and I really like them. They've helped me maintain the chlorine levels. i've needed to add more granules every day - especially after the kids use the pool. Oh wait - also, I got a cover...but I'm not using that yet. Still, I'm sure I'll be glad to have it in time. That's all I've got! I researched pools to death before purchasing this one, and I'm happy with my purchase! I'll likely drain the pool at the end of the season and set it back up again next year assuming it survives the children lol. RIP my water bill though. Probably. (It took about 4 hours to fill)

Great little pool for the kiddos! And a nice extra large "jacuzzi" for adults..lol! My neices love this pool, they are 6 and 9. Came quickly and was easy to set up! It had all the parts but the instructions are not great at all! It's just pictures! There were no leaks and took bout 7 hours to fill 😒 This is actually a great little pool.I just wish the drain plug Was in a different spot more towards the bottom so you could actually drain all the water out of it! It'll drain all the water except for about 4 inches or so! You have to pump the rest out or some other way! Good quality pool otherwise! I'm happy with my purchase!😁

This pool is easy to set up, spacious, and very durable. The material feels strong and long-lasting, and it provides a fun and relaxing experience for the whole family. Excellent quality for the price

First of all, the pool frame and liner itself was very easy to set up. I did it alone, a forties female. The hardest part there wax prepping the base since I have tree roots, rocks, and (after using an industrial strength magnet) an alarming number of corroded old hand forged roofing nails from the 40’s. I had no idea those were there- I was running the magnet because I had dropped a box of small screws and was so worried I’d missed one and it had ended up where the pool was going in. Anyway, wow y’all might want to do that if it’s anywhere near your house. Instructions regarding the fittings and the pump were worthless. There wasn’t even an effort to show you how the pump should be connected. My intakes aren’t working at all so my skimmer is useless and crud is just floating in my pool with no actual filtering happening. Just pretend this doesn’t have a pump and go ahead and order a good sand filter with filter media balls (the name brand not the knockoffs which are just polyester). For my 12’ round I got a 3000gph one so I can run a fountain for the return and the one which came with the pool definitely is not strong enough to run a fountain (I tried it). It was a breeze putting the pool up after the underlayment was done but then I spent 4 hours looking at videos of pool and pump installs, none of which solved my problems. But if it weren’t for being able to catch a screenshot from one I’d have zero idea how the pump connections should go because Bestway doesn’t even care to tell you. Pool is fine. It’s actually huge for the two of us but I guess that’s more room for floats. I’m pleased with being able to have a pool for two hundred bucks, but the zero effort Bestway puts into showing what to do after the frame and liner are up is ridiculous. Good luck trying to figure it out.

I ordered this for my son's birthday. It was very easy to setup and take apart at the end of the season. Having level ground is very important though. The delivery date was scheduled after the birthday but I wrote to customer service and I am not sure if they expedited the parcel or not but it came a few days early.

Easy to put together when it's not windy. Not a deep pool but good for the money.
