Really good with 1 caveat
I used 8 of these to mount 2 wall guitar holder/mounts (that each had 4 holes). Everything went well except for the supplied red tool. There was just NO WAY I could push the red tool with my thumb and get it to expand the anchor behind the wall.At first I (mistakenly) thought that the screw would do that, so on the first mount I didn't really bother with the red tool. Big mistake. Before mounting the second holder I played with one of the anchors out of the bag and I used the red tool to see how it worked. Then I tried the screw and saw that it didn't expand the anchor.SO...I unscrewed the first mount, tried pushing the red tool into all of the holes and no joy. Then I took a hammer and popped the red tool and FINALLY saw it move forward into the hole the way it was supposed to. I then did that for the other three holes, successfully, and remounted the guitar hanger. Wash. Rinse. Repeat for the second one. Popping the red tool with a hammer was the only way I could get these to work. But in the end they all worked and nothing broke and I was glad. (I had read another review in which the reviewer stated the red tool broke while he was trying to install the anchor(s). I held my breath but the red tool held up okay.)

Great for Ceilings
These are great anchors. I've used them a few times for reinforcing overhead lights where I wanted additional support for an old junction box.They also work great for hanging heavy pictures, shelves, etc. on drywall. I've used larger metal toggles for similar projects but these require smaller holes in the wall and are easier to get flush on the wall. I've also used anchors that never seem to fit inside the recommended pre-drilled holes, but never have a problem getting these into the wall.

Decent
Works better than most wall anchors. I seem to go through a progression of using regular wall anchors, stepping up a size when they fail, and then going with these. I'm thinking for tougher applications, I will go with these from the start. I would have been nice if they included a drill bit with the box.

Such a simple and yet extra strong anchor. New favorite.
