Pack of 10 ordered via Contact Left Limited, delivered two days later. Genuine Cyalume products with a 4+ year use-by date (it is Feb 23 now and the use -by date is 06/27).Tested one: It took some force to snap the internal capsule, which is a good protection against accidental activation. Good red light visible from afar as a marker. Illuminates an area of about one meter. When held close to a page it is sufficient to read with. Started to fade after 13 hours.In my opinion, if you need one for a first aid kit, find a white one - there are high intensity 30 minute versions for such uses. If you need a general light, the red are best and do not affect your night vision quite so much.I only ever use Cyalume after I found that the cheaper products occasionally simply did not work when I needed them
