I purchased this mount after reading reviews for this size and the size larger of the same product. Everyone seems to agree that the mount is made of very strong steel and they're all correct. There's nary a wobble or a wiggle in the mount after it's fastened (very securely) to the wall. Make sure you've got a powerful drill with some good torque because those bolts have enough bit to push the limits of something weaker. After I fastened the mount to the wall I pulled on it to make sure everything would hold (although after drilling the bolts there wasn't really any doubt) and there was no budging, no movement and I was absolutely confident in placing my TV on the back. The instructions leave a little to be desired, but there are only a few steps drilling into studs.: I'd find Stud points first and have an idea where you're putting it and make sure everything will fit. 1: Find the bolts that hook to your TV. I used ones that came with the Cheetah mounts and they fit perfectly. There are the most common sizes included (I have an LG 50"). 2. Attach the vertical brackets to your TV. 3.Fasten mount to wall. The instructions are very clear here. Measure, measure, measure. Drill a hole, then measure again. I found it easiest to pre-drill your first hole (recommended sizes are included in the instructions), have someone help you hold the mounting bracket to that hole. Line up the hole with the TOP bracket hole that will be holding the bolt. Use the included magnetic level to check. Mark your second top hole and drill the bolt into your first, but don't tighten it all the way down. From there, pre-drill your second hole into the other stud (through the gap in the bracket). Hold that down with a second bolt, but don't tighten all the way. Now drill your two bottom holes and attach the two bolts. 4. Tighten everything up and make sure it's sturdy. 5. Put your TV (with the brackets already on) on the back over the hooks with some assistance, choose your tilt angle and tighten the security screws to your preference on the back. 6. Enjoy. Overall, I'd say Cheetah did a really, really good job with this. It's affordable and well made. As a side note, the joints can be a little stiff. An included Allen key and a ~1/8th turn will loosen up whichever joints you would like to move more freely. I may buy a few more for my other TVs in the house.

For the price and what came in the package you'd be hard to beat a Cheetah mount. Not only does it come with a solid steel mounting bracket (I think it's heavier than my tv) but a braided 8ft hdmi cable that's perfect for people like me who like to hide cables in the wall and a well-made level. My brother and I installed the mount in some drywall with very little effort and it supported my 39" flatscreen easily. The only issue I noticed is that the vertical 16 degree tilt it claims to have is completely non-functional. We went so far as to take the main bracket apart and examine it and the screws attaching it to the mount, even when loose, prevent it from tilting at all. Removing them is not an option since they are part of the upper support of the television. As far as the rest of the motion is concerned it works perfectly, and you can rotate the telivision (depending on size) up to about 45 degrees left or right of the wall you've mounted it to. My tv is about 35 degrees as I have it mounted near a corner (which it fills) and it looks great. My advice is to mount it as low as you can for comfortable viewing since you cannot reliably tilt it down to face you. I may have received a defective model but looking at the design I don't think so, it just seems like the vertical tilt was not well thought out and they disabled it because of a problem with the weight. Overall I highly recommend the mount. It has a lot of value (the hdmi cable alone would cost you like $20 at the store) and is very sturdy. Update: SPN Performance, the people who sold me the mount, contacted me about my issue and assured me that the mounts should tilt. They went so far as to send me an additional mount at no cost to try out, and after examining it it looks like they have altered the mounting bracket design somewhat. I have never seen a seller on Amazon have such determination to please the customer even when I was not that displeased, so I have adjusted my rating up from 4 to 5 stars and highly recommend these mounts. SPN went above and beyond to ensure I was 100% satisfied with this purchase.

I have three of these, two of them holding up 65" flat screens and one on a 75". They work great and are easy to install with a second person. Great product.

El soporte (como otros que he comprado de Cheetah), es robusto y firme para cometer bien su función. Aunque esperaba que los brazos fueran más largos para poder girar más la TV (al ser una 55" la TV toca antes en la pared de hacer un giro amplio), me satisface plenamente como queda, y por tanto, recomiendo su comprar, salvo que se requiera un giro lateral muy amplio para una TV de gran formato. Edición: Tras leer mi comentario, el fabricante se puso en contacto conmigo para saber porqué no había quedado plenamente satisfecho. Al explicarle mi caso, me ofrecieron enviarme un soporte superior, de brazos más largos, para que el giro fuero más amplio. He instalado el nuevo soporte y queda espectacular. Estos brazos son bastante más largos que el soporte inicial, y ahora si que hace el giro que esperaba. Ya era una buena compra, pero ahora es una compra superior. El fabricante es muy responsable con sus productos y hace todo lo posible para que el comprador quede plenamente satisfecho. Un 10 para el producto y para el fabricante. Gracias.

Nachdem ich trotz Prime-Mitgliedschaft einige Tage warten musste hielt ich den Halter endlich in der Hand. Insgesamt ein ziemlich Stabiles Teil aber in der Verstellung relativ schwergängig. Verstellmöglichkeit der Neigung ein wenig umständlich. Was ich aber als sehr Negativ empfand: Die beigelegten Schrauben welche den TV mit dem Wandhalter verbinden waren von so mieser Qualität, dass ich neue kaufen musste. Die beigelegten Schrauben gingen nicht rein, was kein Wunder war da das Gewinde einfach nur hinüber war, teilweise nicht existierte. Im Baumarkt gibt es aber leider keine Schrauben mit den Maßen M8 x 25.... Also irgendwas "Basteln" Aber alles in allem, für den Preis echt OK. Will ich etwas perfektes haben, muss ich eben (viel) mehr Geld ausgeben. Wer in der Lage ist zu improvisieren sollte hier zugreifen. Nachdem sich der Hersteller/Vertrieb bei uns gemeldet hat, bekamen wir einen neuen Wandhalter geliefert. Dieser erfüllt alle Erwartungen, die Qualität stimmt auch. Der Halter kann sich meiner Meinung nach mit wesentlich teureren Haltern messen. Schrauben sind nun auch gut, es ist alles ordentlich Verarbeitet, sogar ordentlich entgratet - was viele teure Halter nicht bieten können. Herzlichen Dank an den Vertrieb/Hersteller für soviel Kundenservice, ist man in Deutschland gar nicht mehr gewohnt..... ist ja auch kein deutscher Hersteller. Macht weiter so, dann verursacht Geldausgeben auch keine Bauchschmerzen mehr.

Edit to original review: After my comments to the original mount I purchased A representative from Cheetah called me and wanted to find out more about he issues I was having with the mount. I told them about the sagging and by the end of the conversation the woman assured me I would be getting a better mount which will for sure handle the weight of my tv and I would get to keep the original one I purchased. The new mount came the next day and I have installed it and it works awesome. This is a company who really does want to make the customer happy, which is nice for a change. Definitely will recommend this company to whoever is looking for one of there products. Original review: I bought this mount for a 46 inch Sony LCD TV. After mounting it on the wall with the TV mount the TV dips on a significant angle. If the TV is pushed back against the wall it improves but the angle is still there. I got this mount because of the number of positive reviews and how many people recommended it. I think if I had a smaller TV on the mount it definitely would be a lot better. I do want to point out how quickly I received the item (faster then originally indicated by Amazon by a day) from the seller. Also, the mount does come with useful and convenient accessories such as a level and hdmi cable free of charge. The mount itself was also easy to install and came with detailed instructions. Overall, good mount for smaller TV but bigger tvs like my 46 inch will dip.
